Does anybody have a theory of why Robbie Anderson hasn’t been cut yet? He does have a roster bonus coming up as part of his contract. Surely the Cards csn’t be contemplating retaining him.

They want to keep him if they trade Hopkins? If they can’t find a good package for Hop, or he agrees to an extension.

I could be that they just put their coaching staff together and are evaluating everyone. As long as they make a decision before the bonus is due it's all good.

They cut “Robbie”, but he was one step ahead so he’s still on the team.

I'd guess letting the new staff be involved in the decision (Straight cut or try sign a new deal)

His roster bonus isn't due until March 19th. So plenty of time.

There are quite a few guys like this across the league and I don't think any have been cut yet.

Not that it means anything but I thought he was at the facility with Kyler and the small group of players at Gannon's introduction.

lol I knew you were a writer but I never pegged you for a comedian
Just for fun on Carr, but Packers restructured Aaron Jones’ contract in February
Saints restructured Marcus Maye's contract & Michael Thomas in 2023
Of course the Cards restructured Watt’s contract in January
There may be more, I remember these.

I'm pretty sure the new league year doesn't begin until Wednesday, at which point we can make the move inside of 2023 transactions. Not sure how the Carr situation susses out with the league year thing.
