I’m not drafting Fano in the top 20.

Imagine drafting a OT with no power.

Not good at all...arm length aint bad for his height...but I am notoriously known for having smaller hands and short stubby fingers...and my hands are 9.5"
gotta wonder how well he will grip the ball when these pro edges start swiping at him from behind.

maybe he is the second coming of Dave Kreig
Not much difference from Mendoza. Quarter of an inch. Meh.

I don’t think the Cardinals need more mid players. I dont think any players
I would really want would fall to 12. 20 is uniquely unappealing if not to grab Simpson
I don't know about you, but I expect first rounders to be better than 'mid.'

Yes please. Not necessarily for Simpson, but the picks, absolutely.
Then I trade 12 down to late teens for 2027 first. Trade 20 for two seconds (one this year and one next). Then trade one second for a second and third next year. Voila I’ve got two 2027 firsts, three 2027 seconds and two 2027 thirds. I think that’s enough ammo for a QB next year.

The more I hear about his combine and interviews, I think I'm on board for him.
I'm with you! There is still a while to go before the draft (trades, free agency, pro-days) but the more I see of the kid, the more I like. I just wish he was at least 2-3 inches taller. 6'1" isn't bad persei but 6'4" is better.

Who couldn't use an extra 3 inches?

What do you think you draft with 12 and 20?
One of the tackles might be there at 12, if not Proctor at 20. I’d also take either the best WR at 12 or maybe trade down with that one and take Mesidor. Then go WR at 34. Might package the 3rd and the last Boys’ pick to get Nussmeier.

Imagine drafting a OT with no power.
No sacks given up at T in 740 snaps, and he just ran a 4.91 40 at the combine.

Imagine thinking this guy has no power. He could score at TE for us. O-linemen don't move like this, his agility and speed at this size is insane.

Man came at me for my no power claims to talk about his agility & speed.

I mean, it's physics. Mass, velocity, acceleration. What do you do when a 300 lb man is running a 4.91 40 directly at you? You gonna overpower a freight train? :biglaugh:

How much did his supposed lack of power hurt his ability to basically NEVER give up sacks? Yep, sounds like a total weakling to me lol

yeah but....
power...
power really comes into play more in the running game. I mean, it CAN be a detriment to pass protection...making a guy susceptible to bull rushes if he doesnt get his hands set quick enough... but generally speaking power comes into play when a guy is asked to move a 325 pound defensive lineman 3 yards over that way,....totally against his will.

my unsolicited .02 cents

Again…that sounds like a lot of mid. A WR would be stupid. There is no QB and there are already two WRs along with a top TE…it makes no sense. This team needs superstars. Playmakers. There are only a handful of players like that in every draft class…I’m not passing on one in this one.

Magic beans. Yinz want to give Monti more magic beans. Some people will never learn. Don't make me buy a Draft Picks jersey.
But not magic beans for magic beans sake. I don’t want more picks for more picks sake. I want them for one mission. Trade up for QB of our choice next year.
