The Cardinals are 19–49 since Trey got here in 2022. 3 different coaching staffs, zero playoff appearances.

Can't blame him for having this viewpoint - fans haven't had a reason to show up in a long time.

My wife and I haven't missed a Cardinals' home game in his career, but evidently, we don't exist to him.

I applaud him for saying it, because he's trying to get a reaction; get fans to do something about it. The problem is, like Atlanta, Phoenix is a fair weather football town, and needs to put a good product on the field. I think they will end up doing that eventually, because they drafted Beck and Love. All those draft picks the last 3 years have to mature and pay dividends this season; even if there are only 4-9 wins. Then the owner has to make it a priority to really build the OL. Not cost cutter OL coaches, and mediocre OL personell, but solid free agency signings.

We are no different than any other city that has a perpetual losing franchise.

Ask the people who sat in swamp ass Sun Devil for years before SAFE made them leave for standing too long, cheering too hard, or displaying a banner that dared say anything other than "We are the best". Or the guys who had South Endzone seats for decades before they were forcefully relocated so Michael could try to create a corporate space.

When McBride said "Arizona doesn't have Arizona Fans", he didn't actually mean that there are no Cardinal fans in Arizona.

He was referring to the Transplant nature of Arizona. Fans moving from from elsewhere and bringing their team loyalties. In his 4 year history with the team all he as seen across the field at SDS is a sea of Blue Seahawks fans. Or Red/gold 49ers fans... etc. He has had to practice silent counts for most of the home games that he has played here in AZ. He has never got to experience the home field advantage that the Cardinals used to enjoy over a decade ago.

Fan base was plenty good when we moved into the new stadium - we had a real home field advantage for awhile. Bidwill has destroyed all of that through his arrogance, his stupidity, and his penny pinching.

We've been old man Bidwill bad for a long time now - Mikey has destroyed whatever momentum we had.

Ehhhhh, I'm gonna disagree with this and say it depends on the franchise. The apathy discrepancies is what makes the difference. Even though some teams can't win to save their life, fans still are invested. There really are two levels of Cards fans. Thise who are in no matter what, and those that are in ONLY when we're good. Which is hardly ever unfortunately, thus the general indifference. There was a time when State Farm was among the loudest stadiums in the league. Guess when that was? When we were good.
