It is largely accepted that tight end Trey McBride is the Arizona Cardinals' best player. He is arguably the best tight end in the NFL.

He is also one of the best players in the NFL, period, according to CBS Sports' Pete Prisco.

Prisco released his rankings of the top 100 players in the NFL, and McBride is the only Cardinals player to make the list.

He cracked the top 20, coming in at No. 18 after being No. 42 in 2025.

He caught 126 passes last season to finish second in the league behind Puka Nacua. He also had 11 touchdowns, cementing himself as the top tight end in the game.

He ranked just ahead of San Francisco 49ers running back Christian McCaffrey.

For good measure, he was the highest-ranked tight end.

McBride set a franchise record with 126 receptions last season. His 1,239 receiving yards were the most any tight end has had in a season in franchise history, beating Hall of Famer Jackie Smith's 1,205 yards in 1967.

Sadly, no other Cardinals player made the list, not even safety Budda Baker.

Who was the top player? That would be LA Rams pass rusher Myles Garrett, whom they acquired this offseason.
