The Arizona Cardinals have been hard at work in offseason workouts, wrapping up OTAs this week. There is new energy with a new coaching staff and a new offense.
Tight end Trey McBride, appearing on NFL Network, was asked about how it feels with LaFleur and his staff.
As one would expect, everything was highly positive.
"Everyone is very excited about the new coaching staff," he said. "Mike LaFleur has come in and has gotten everyone dialed in with the new offense."
It has been a challenge, as one can expect.
"It's been a huge learning curve for everybody. (We're) just trying to get the offense down, just trying to learn, trying to figure out what we're going to do. I'm excited about the new staff this year. I'm excited for everyone who's on this team. I'm just excited to get going and see what we can do this year."
McBride is coming off a career season, setting a franchise record with 126 receptions, but the team went 3-14.
The excitement of the spring needs to carry over to training camp, but once the season comes, it will take success on the field.
