If you’re not sure of who will be the coaches, adding a player is practically impossible.
Honestly, I don’t think Gannon or MO are going anywhere. The injury issues, whether right or wrong, will be taken into consideration. The hope will be the injured return and rosters additions will be a reason for optimism.
If I’m correct, then there are opportunities to add to the 2026 roster this year.
Breece Hall is a perfect example. There is no guarantee Connor is going to return or how affective he would be.
Does anybody here really believe Benson, Demercado and Knight is adequate?
MO HAS to operate like he will be here next year.

Great trade for them.. I don’t get why we don’t make trades like this? A 7th round pick and a his salary is only guaranteed for this season? Easy time to upgrade talent for now and the future.
Is Logan Wilson any good? Admittedly I know nothing about him. It just seems weird to grab a player from the worst D in the league not named Trey Hendrickson.

Uh ya… very solid player. Especially for a 7th rounder. Good in coverage for an LB (2 seasons w 4 ints in each).. 100+ tackles in 4 seasons. Big time upgrade for the Cowboys with no downside in giving up a 7th and guaranteed money done at season’s end.

The Giants are apparently giving up on Evan Neal. Unlike most available guys he’s young enough to be salvaged. He made the “Freaks” list based on strength and quickness. He was expected to be a longtime starter. He needs a great deal of work, but at least seems worth the effort to try. He’s cheap and a conditional third round would get him. I’d make that move.

Please please please.

He's been absolutely terrible, but Will Hernandez was also terrible on the Giants.

I don't even think it would cost that much. The issue there is that his contract expires at the end of the year so why take on a project halfway through the season that you have to re-sign immediately. I would like to see Neal vs Beachum in the blocking TE role.

Conklin might be the only RT on the market they could get.

I am curious to see if Nichols gets moved. A player for player swap somewhere. You aren't getting much for him but an exchange of scraps might upgrade somewhere else like ILB, blocking TE, or something like that.

Could a pick swap get Kaleb Johnson away from Pittsburgh? He has had a bad start but is better than what we have.

say it again the one guy I would really want that could help us this year and beyond in a huge way is Achane. I like Benson I still believe in Benson but Achane is just a special guy being wasted in Miami. I read yesterday they're getting calls but so far not looking to move him so it's unlikely but that's a guy that would take our offense to another level.

DeMercado had a couple of really nice runs last night where it was well blocked and he hit the hole hard, and honestly I think Achane scores on both of them, not a knock on Emari he played really well but it's just that extra gear Achane has.

Gibbs and Bijan Robinson are probably the only other RB's in the NFL that have that gear

My real fear is KC is somehow going to end up with him

Can he block and pick up a blitz?

Better than Carter or Knight. He's not elite at it. He's the one guy who COULD get traded today that I think could change the NFL season for whoever gets him.

But it sounds like Miami is keeping him. They have Ollie Gordon who's going to be a pretty good RB so my assumption is they simply don't think the return for Achane is worth trading away their best offensive player
