After watching Leinart excel at checkdowns and short routes but loft intermediate throws that get receivers killed (see pre-season game), and after watching DA do just the opposite, Hall was just what we needed.
1. The deep out was perfectly timed to Fitz.
2. The slant perfectly delivered into Fitz that was Warneresque; he was well covered on the play. It had just the perfect amount of zip and allowed Fitz to do what he does.
3. The last throw to Patrick was a high pressure throw. I completely disagreed with the play call, but the ball was lofted perfectly into his hands (too bad he couldn't hold on).
So we have green QB with some moxie, good mobility that can make all the throws. Hope is restored.
