Two open receivers who would’ve gotten the first downThis is what JB did when we needed 4 yards to keep the game alive...He threw it into double coverage, to freaking Xavier Weaver lol
Then JG did what he does and doubled down saying it was the right play. You can't make this stuff up.
Dortch maybe, but Carter would’ve gotten tackled short unless he’s a Jahmyr Gibbs’ clone. There was a defender waiting for him.Two open receivers who would’ve gotten the first down
Haha, right? He was only commenting on Jacoby.Did he forget who Jacoby’s HC is?
So that would make Brissette what a top 10 to 15 quarterback?I was texting all game with my good friend, who is a Jags fan. After the game, he told me JB is really good. He was impressed. He said, if we get him an OL he could win 10 games next season. His words.
I did not state an opinion. I merely relayed an opinion from an opposing fan.So that would make Brissette what a top 10 to 15 quarterback?
If that’s the case, why haven’t other coaches grabbed onto brisket’s brilliance and made him a starter when he is available for peanuts every off-season
Yes, they have a miniature jersey display in Canton, too.You must be registered for see images attach
damn right i put this in the brissett threadxc_hide_links_from_guests_guests_error_hide_media
So glad I was wrong about him.xc_hide_links_from_guests_guests_error_hide_media
You just going to brush past Montana playing in the non-salary cap era?Yeah...
Joe Montana is clearly the GOAT.
Played in an era where brutal pass defense was not only allowed but encouraged. The NFL never changed rules to benefit him. He never cheated...and through all that he managed to keep a Hall of Famer on the bench for years.
There really is no comparison between the two.
Had Montana the benefits that Brady had for his entire career the man would have a dozen rings...instead of only the 4 that he earned while fighting off the "America's Team" Dynasty year after year.
Your friend is on meth and also probably thinks the Jags are good. He’s not a winning QB. Neither is Kyler. Thinking we can win 10 games with either them next year is insane and people just not wanting to admit they’re wrong.I was texting all game with my good friend, who is a Jags fan. that pic speaks to one of my problems with PetzingThis is what JB did when we needed 4 yards to keep the game alive...He threw it into double coverage, to freaking Xavier Weaver lol

Haha, I'll tell him you said so. He'll get a kick out of that. He's definitely not on meth. He has a love/hate relationship with his team this year, saw it as a trap game, and foolishly bet on the Cards. I warned him not to, but what can you do.Your friend is on meth and also probably thinks the Jags are good. He’s not a winning QB. Neither is Kyler. Thinking we can win 10 games with either them next year is insane and people just not wanting to admit they’re wrong.
Not sure the receivers getting open early aren’t part of the problem.Another one with a very quick release time something that brisket doesn’t have
This is evidenced by his 1 win in 6 attempts. You can’t win without a serviceable QB and an OL. Exhibit A: Arizona Cardinals over past 7 years. We have neither. We’ve seen enough of Kyler to know we’ll never win with him as QB1. If the OL is fortified through the draft and free agency, maybe JB could get us to (or near) the playoffs. But we need a QB who’s 6-3 to 6-5 and gets the ball out quick and accurately. He needs to play behind a much better OL that will keep him upright. If the OL is improved substantially and our RBs stay healthy next year, maybe JB gives us the time to develop a QB1. We cannot pass 45-50 times a game and expect to win consistently. And who do we fault for the mess we’re in: Monty the GM, head coach, OC, line coach? The whole lot of them? I’ve liked Monty’s drafts, so I’m good there. I’m concerned about all the injuries. You can’t plan for your RB1 to break his leg, but you can ensure the backups are adequate. Seems to me there has to be structural changes within the organization — at QB, OL and coaching staff. I’m an old guy and I’m plenty tired of saying “We’ll be better next year.”
Nice to take his quote out of context. He said, "If the OL is fortified through the draft and free agency," before the rest that you bolded, so his current record is irrelevant. This is evidenced by his 1 win in 6 attempts.
Bro next season the cap age are definitely going to hit San Fran and the Rams very hard no need to worry about them.Any discussion on us winning 10 games means we are ignoring the other 3 teams in the division and how much they have grown over the last two years.
Next year on the schedule is the NFC East and the AFC West.
Rams have ten picks in the draft, including the Falcons top pick, likely in the top ten.Bro next season the cap age are definitely going to hit San Fran and the Rams very hard no need to worry about them.
No one cares because everyone knows brissett is a backup being forced to play because Kyler is worse than him. You’re arguing with yourself against brissett. All I know is that if Kyler was the QB when the defense got four turnovers and he only managed to score 17 points the board would have a complete mutiny
I just don’t know how you move forward as a franchise knowing you not only have the worst coach in your division but he’s the worst coach by a million miles. This is evidenced by his 1 win in 6 attempts.
And our genius GM tampered to get said coach, costing us draft position. It's just a clown show from top to bottom.I just don’t know how you move forward as a franchise knowing you not only have the worst coach in your division but he’s the worst coach by a million miles.
And this is just blatantly obvious.
