Hot Fuss is the name of their debut album - it's pretty solid. a concept album - pretty ambitious for a debut - but i think they do an admirable job on it. Check it out if you like the pop/rock genre.

ALL THESE THINGS WE WANT TO DO!

THE KILLERS have said they’d like to start recording their new album before the end of the year.

The band are currently on the road in North America in support of their debut album ’Hot Fuss’, which has sold two million copies in their native country.

Speaking to MTV news about the follow-up, singer Brandon Flowers said they already have more than an album’s worth of ideas.

"When you're prolific you should put it out. In the '60s and '70s, it was sometimes three albums a year for people. That would be ideal for us, since we love to write and play new stuff, but that's just not how it is anymore. So it'll be a good year-and-a-half between records, but the sooner the better. We want to stick around and give people good things to listen to."

While out in the US the band shot a new video for the track ’All These Things That I've Done’ with Anton Corbijn.

The Killers return to the UK for summer festival appearances.

The Killers news
The Killers plan summer U.S. shows

Las Vegas alt-rock quartet The Killers currently in the midst of a spring headlining tour, are lining up a summer jaunt that will visit a mix of clubs and theaters.

The band's newly announced July and August shows include some dates that were rescheduled from this spring, when a portion of the itinerary was re-routed. Details are shown below.

The Killers broke through in the U.S. more than a year ago on the strength of the single "Somebody Told Me," as well as dates in support of Morrissey.

Despite their Sin City origins, The Killers first got signed in the U.K. by the indie label Lizard King, which issued the cut "Mr. Brightside" in 2003. That single was the catalyst for a U.K. tour, followed by an appearance at the CMJ Music Festival in New York that led to the group's deal with Island Records.

Wow! I'm so completely blown away by this band.

Anyone else experiencing their sound? I'm not sure what to make of them. They ROCK! They have melody. They have theatrics. You can swing. You can "mood". You can "feel".

What are they?

You've probably heard them already with "Mr. Brightside" and "Somebody Told Me"...
but give a listen too "All Things That I've Done"

Great video...and awesome song! These guys are on their way. Wouldn't be surprised to see them really get ridiculous famous.

I've got a boot - a fairly excellent audience recording - of them from December 2004 in Minneapolis. I haven't heard the album, but the live show is good stuff.

New album has some really good songs on it...I've seen them performing live on just about everything, and by the third time, I'm singing along with the songs.

Very good band...still feel lucky to have seen them live when they were still relatively new.

I have started to lose faith in bands from the 00's. I really can't stand anything out there new besides a song here or a song there but the Killers IMO are absolutely fantastic. They remind me of a young Cure. I really like everything from them that I have heard. I actually feel they will be around for a while.

Never listened to them before Rock Band and "When You Were Young." I love that song though.
