I've been thinking for a while the Sun Devils should throw more deeper passes on first down and second down. Open up the offense, so to speak. This should also help the running game. Too often their plays were predictable. Sometimes they look like Cardinals with their short passing game to the flats and sideline area.

They need a second receiver. I like what I saw of Jaren Hamilton.

It felt like the first game where Leavitt was seeking other revivers. It opened up the run game and Tyson as well. I hope we see him mix it up more.

Exactly. The Sun Devils are giving up too many sacks. Throwing on first and second down more, may lessen the pass rush on Leavitt. Those passes to the sideline were not fooling anyone.

I like what I saw in Hamilton too, but one catch doesn't make a great second WR option. They need a consistent second option and it has been an issue all year long.
