Arizona's "biggest weakness" is at quarterback, per
@MikeClayNFL
"Kyler Murray is gone, leaving Jacoby Brissett as the probable Week 1 starter. The veteran racked up the counting stats in 12 starts last season, but Arizona throwing a league-high rate was a primary factor."

@ASchatzNFL says BJ Ojulari is a "nonstarter to know" for the upcoming season:
"It's time for Ojulari to step up and fulfill the potential he showed as a second-round pick in 2023, when he had four sacks as a rookie before a 2024 knee injury knocked his career off track."
wow...time warp...Had me at nonstarter.
Thanks.It would have been 23rd last season and 8th among RBs.
Again, this is like every player saying they want to be the best ever or the best at their position. It's hyperbole, a goal oriented mindset, and not an actual negotiation position based on where he currently is as a player. If PJJ was the best LT in football, it would be a different story. He isn't. He has no argument that he is based on career achievements or stats.you found it suspect when I reported it a few months back too.
but its straight from the horses mouth...PJJ said he wants to be the first $40mil a year LT in an interview...
in the end, I think they will compromise and structure the deal so he gets that $40mil per in one of the years...thenlike $36mil in the other years
I understand your position but based on watching the interview at the time with the look on the kids face...he was completely serious that he wants 40mil a year,Again, this is like every player saying they want to be the best ever or the best at their position. Phillip Lindsay made the Pro Bowl as a rookie running back in 2018, so I asked him: should we expect the same from Jeremiyah Love in Year 1?
"If you get drafted third overall, that man better go to the Pro Bowl. That should be the expectation. They’re drafting you that high because they believe you can come in and make some noise."
perfectly reasonable to expect a pro bowl from the rookie...or at least a season good enough that we are outraged he didnt get chosenDon't tell people on this board.
