Tonight the Suns visit the Warriors for a game scheduled to be televised on ESPN and FSAZ.

Hopefully the Suns play better than their last game on ESPN against the Spurs.

Game time is listed at 8:30 p.m. Arizona time.

Here is more from the Scott Bordow game update.

Suns at Warriors

When: 8:30 p.m.

Where: Oracle Arena, Oakland.

TV/radio: ESPN/FSAZ/KTAR 98.7 FM.

Update: The Suns have lost five straight and 10 of their past 11 but they received a nice jolt Saturday from point guard Elfrid Payton, who had 19 points, nine assists and six rebounds in his debut. Center Tyson Chandler, who has missed the past two games with neck spasms, is expected to play but both Devin Booker (hip) and Tyler Ulis (back) are listed as questionable. The Warriors have struggled as of late – they’re 6-4 in their past 10 games – but they still have the best record in the NBA and have won the past 11 meetings with the Suns.

It looks like Booker will be out through the All-Star break. This is my hope for his health.

Edit:

Booker is still scheduled to be in the 3 point contest.

How do you figure? The tweet you posted says the exact opposite of what you wrote.

Wait, so you're saying that know-nothing hacks who live on social media may occasionally contradict each other?

Yes, but we're talking about Mainstreet who said he won't be in the 3-point contest, who then posted a tweet from the Suns beat writer saying he will. I'm not sure Mainstreet falls into that exclusive club of know-nothing hacks. :)

You're right, I misread his post. Maybe I'm in the exclusive category.

Missed the ending. Only saw "should."

It was probably a carryover from him missing tonight's game on my part.

More on Booker.

After Monday’s shootaround interim coach Jay Triano said Booker “still can’t move at NBA speed” because of the hip pointer he suffered against Charlotte on Feb. 4 and that he won’t play until he’s 100 percent and not susceptible to aggravating the injury.

Phoenix’s last game before the All-Star break is Wednesday against Utah. If Booker sits that game out, he’ll have 18 days to heal before the Suns resume play Feb. 23 against the Los Angeles Clippers.

Also Chandler should start.

Did I read this right? It doesn't sound right at first glance.

Perhaps it means Booker is the Suns starting SG and then moves to backup PG when Payton goes to the bench... when Booker is healthy.

Payton gets inside for a layup for the first points of the game.

Chandler, Bender, Jackson, Warren and Payton start for the Suns.

Still don’t know why we don’t just go with these old school jerseys for good.
