on the bright side, even with 2 stars out, all it would have taken was Allen to still be in to get another win.
on another bright side, i hope Ott and Brooks learned something tonight.
NO FLIPPIN ISOLATION BALL!

They always seems lost their control after they lead the match.

I'd chalk that up to the lack of depth/substitutions. Normally the bench guys come in scrappy and defend the lead but they aren't accustomed to playing big minutes and controlling the game as another team continues to fight.

Hopefully this was a learning experience more than a sign of things to come.

The offense has no consistency right now. They need someone to get hot in order to score... and Brooks trying to be a hero doesn't help get anyone else hot.

Booker rolling his ankle during a dead ball play is a real bummer and has probably cost us 3 wins already.

just got our asses kicked - some nights you got it some nights you don't got book jalen or grayson - iso dillon was not the way we needed ball movement inside and out but regardless- still 10 games above 500

startng our best bench players is taking a toll

Yeah I can’t hate on him given all he’s done this year. But he gets overconfident…which is good and bad. He’ll miss ten in a row but really believes he’s gonna sink that eleventh attempt.

Just sad how they couldn’t buy a basket to save their life. That type of folding under pressure doesn’t bode well for high intensity moments in the playoffs, when it always comes down to the 4th quarter.
I think the doom and gloom here is short-sighted. We are never going to win a series if both Booker and green are out. It’s a simple equation. And frankly, one that is consistent for almost all teams in a fourth slot or lower. Only the very best teams can overcome the loss of their top two scorers, and even then not likely against other top seeded teams. If we have either book or green we likely win last nights game going away.

The Suns have been a clutch team all season. Unfortunately now, I'm seeing some quit in them for the lack of a better word.
What?!? I saw no quit in them. They just had a bad meltdown. Last night was only reminiscent of last year because we become too dependent on hero ball without our best talent on the floor.

That first half, especially the first quarter was RIDICULOUS with the 3s. Guaranteed Golden State doesn't reproduce that, even if Curry is back in the lineup.

Both Book and Jalen Green would have made a huge impact, not just with their shot making, but with the freaking gravity those two bring on the defensive end. Grayson wouldn't have made so many terrible cross court passes to the Warriors and Colin wouldn't have been as useless as he was in the first half. That's just the reality.

It can, and should, be argued that even with Book and Green out, we should have still beat that GS team, but the adrenaline of playing without their star, plus their unbelievable 3-point shooting in the first half, really doomed us. Yes, we came back and even led, but if GS hadn't hit all those 3s, this group would have been up 20 on them by the 3rd quarter.

we lost grayson while the warriors were going on a run - not only could we not hit a shot but theur defense was leading to offense the way ours usually does in crunch time

losing grayson was too much too overcome - dillon tried but you can take 1,000 3s and turn arounds in practice but you can't practice being double and triple teamed - collapsed on when they know the turn around is coming

im not trippin tho - lol unless we're missing grayson book and jalen against philly

Did Ott say why he never put Williams back in the game?

And also why they never exploited his height advantage?

Yeah way too much ISO ball from Brooks. I had PTSD flashbacks of KD.

I didn't like what I saw in the Clippers game. Also memories of the Hawks game in Phoenix lingers. Last night, I felt another dose of the same.

Quit may have been the wrong word as I searched for a better one. Tuning out might have been a better choice.

Tonight truly was embarrassing…If I’m coach Ott I’m laying into this team this week, no days off. Extra sprints, shorter curfew, all of it. I hope he demands accountability, and that this loss actually fuels them. I think you actually learn more from your losses than your wins anyway.

A game like this just can’t happen again. They have no margin for error with all these injuries.

Hopefully the Suns have lost concentration. It's a long season. The last thing I want is them tuning out Jordan Ott.

I only watched the 2nd half but it look liked Ott was out coached. I don't give Kerr a lot of credit for his coaching since he has generational talent on his team but he proved capable of scheming and adjusting last night. Ott was stubborn to a fault also. I blame Ott way more than the players but i won't hold it against him long term unless it becomes a pattern.

Those guards added in trade may well be needed after-all.

We still should have won this game. The Warriors were without their best player and Butler as well as just trading away their guard depth in Hield. No excuse to go 5-20 to end the game. Doc Ott will have them learn from this painful loss.

Dang. We should have won this one.

Bloddy Draymond leaned into Livers was no surprise. I f'ing hate that guy. Will the league look into it?

Brutal that Allen injured his knee. Usually worse than twisting the ankle. Get well soon Grayson! He has been playing and leading very well.

Now Ott must free my guy Big Flemingo. With a lot of injuries and facing big teams, he can help but he needs repetitions and experience so he should be part of that mix master crew going forward. If you ask me.
