The league is an absolute joke with the lack of Suns participating in the all star weekend. Any other team has the best record in the league you can bet they will have 4-5 guys participating throughout the weekend.

I'm not usually one to bang the old "we don't get any respect drum!" but this is pretty ridiculous. We're the best team in the league by 4 games, on pace for one of the top 10 records in NBA History AND we're the defending Western Conference Champs. To not have the 2nd best 3 point shooter in the league, who's a volume shooter from the best team in the league, in the 3 point shooting contest is flat out stupid.

but silver lining... from a purely selfish perspecyive, the lack of press for Cam Johnson is probably better for the Suns bottom line when it comes to contract extension time.

With the addition of Craig and Holiday, we now have a seriously solid 12 man rotation, with a second unit of high energy guys. Monty will be able to go a lot of different directions with that bench. I just hope he doesn't forget to use them again once the playoffs get going.

That would be a filthy 2nd unit, especially with Booker and Bridges kinda trading time with it. Shooters, tons of defense and with Bridges recent leap, guys who can create their own offense.

I think the best the Suns can do is tie the record for the most wins before the break, GS went 48-4 which is just insane. Hopefully it isn't one of our goals though, rested and healthy should be our biggest goals for the rest of this season.

I think Cam Payne was talking like a fan might do in an informal setting not realizing he was being recorded.

Players exaggerate as well but the media is very unforgiving when they catch them doing it. Cam likes to have fun too.

I don't think he meant it to be taken literally.
