The Suns have to find a way to rotate 5 guards—Book, Green, CG, Goodwin, and Kennard. Some of those guys will play some minutes at forward.
Guards 100 minutes: Booker (30), Green (28), CG (20), Goodwin (12), Kennard (10)
They can only really find regular minutes for four forwards. Brooks, Bridges, and then two of Fleming, Dunn, and Koa. One of those is going to ride the bench. To me it looks like Koa is headed for a redshirt year like Khaman and Fleming did last year. Koa is going to spend a lot of time in G-league. If he blows it up there, he might be able to push Fleming or Dunn out of a job if one of those two aren’t cutting it.
Forwards 92 minutes: Brooks 30, Bridges 29, Fleming 15, Dunn 10, Koa 8.
All three centers will get work. Williams will start but Maluach is already pushing him. I could see Maluach starting when Williams sits out games, while Oso backs up whoever starts. If Man man keeps hitting threes at 40% it will be tough to keep him on the bench.
48 center minutes: Williams 20 ( management will make it look like it’s more because he will sit out entire games), Oso 14, Maluach 14. Again game management might get Man Man more minutes than this.
Honestly, the Suns might consider running game management protocols across the board. They have had issues with injuries, and they now have enough depth and enough players needing minutes, that they could sit one or two players per game and probably be fine.
