The magic number for the Suns to return to the playoffs is 30.

To make the play-in is 22.

30 wins?

1- 4 pretty close.

7 through the 9 spot is tight right now.

Then 10-13 are also in the hunt for the play-in.

It's usually figured in a combination of wins and losses.

Its funny because at the beginning of the season, even just prior to its start, most fans would have been happy with a play in spot. Now that we've seen how good this team can be though a play in spot would be disappointing.

I don't want anyone questioning the Suns made the playoffs or having one or two games deciding the outcome.

I asked Monty Williams about Cam Johnson and his defense being considered a question mark coming out of the draft. He said it was evident from the 1st few practices in Flagstaff that Cam was even better on D than they thought and he's never seen deficiencies there in Cam's game.

Suns record since starting 8-7 = 21-7. Number of losses against sub .500 teams in that 21-7 stretch: 6. Only loss with a winning record was to the Nets who were down Irving and Durant, and they had a 20+ point lead in the 3rd. They are winning the games against the competitive teams and losing to teams they should be crushing! It's beyond frustrating.

That’s a pretty crazy stat.

Suns vice chairman and also minority team owner Jahm Najafi has pledged $10 million to the NBA Foundation.

The contribution is reported to be a $1 million a year over the next 10 years.

By Duane Rankin Arizona Republic:

Phoenix Suns vice chairman and minority team owner Jahm Najafi has pledged a $10 million commitment to the NBA Foundation, the league announced Wednesday morning.

“This past year I have been inspired by the NBA family’s efforts to advance social justice, especially through the Board of Governor's long-term commitment in creating the NBA Foundation,” Najafi said in the news release. “I’ve seen firsthand how economic opportunity can change lives, and I look forward to supporting the Foundation over the next 10 years as they impact the lives of Black youth.”
