After a disappointing defense of their 2025 NBA Summer League title, the Charlotte Hornets are preparing for preseason action this October. The team recently revealed a four-game preseason schedule that includes two home and two away matchups before the 2026-27 NBA season officially begins.
Charlotte will begin their preseason October 6 at home against the Brooklyn Nets. Then the Hornets will host the Milwaukee Bucks five days later before two road matchups against the Celtics and Grizzlies to finish things up. This is a bit lighter schedule than last Hornets' preseason, as Charlotte played five games, two of which were at neutral sites.
The NBA regular season schedule has yet to be released; however, the Hornets opened up their 2025-26 campaign on the 22nd of October.
