my wife is friends with the Lower family. My neighbor down the street is super close to them as well. So tragic and everyone is still in a state of shock.

Suicide and mental illness are a complicated and tragic occurrence. Awareness is part of the solution, but unfortunately, there are far more reasons why it’s become so prevalent. I’m 65, and grew up in simpler times. And I’m so thankful for that. Suicide was almost unheard of back then, although I’m sure that it was kept quiet also. My prayers go out to families that have had to bear such
pain. I pray that somehow, someway, the issue is less prevalent in future generations.

What happened?
Two children of Cardinals employees committed suicide over the offseason. The video was to both honor them and bring awareness to others who might be struggling. Kudos to the Cards and the families of the two young men no longer with us to support such a powerful message.
