I'd trade Clark or Lopez for Blair who was a second round pick.

Good thing Dragic is showing some game because the trade of the GS pick to SA cost the Suns the Blair pick. :bang:

We are lucky that Spurs just ain't good enough this season. We keep have the problem of not paying enough attention to opponents' hot hands. And constant double-teaming TD in the 2nd half was a disaster. Sometimes, we need the fouls by Collins and Lopez put to good use. That'd wear down TD better even if he scored on all those one-on-ones.

Well, Amare's trade value seems to be on a 3 season high. To please the haters, let's trade him for Lee or Jamison or Brand. ;)

Amazingly, Amare did not only show effort in one quarter - the whole game. What happened? Suddenly he shows all of his talents and stops himself of getting stupid fouls (the 4th and 5th were meaningless at the end).

If he could only keep this EFFORT and desire, we wouldn't even consider talking about alternatives...

anyway - GREAT WIN, SUNS BEAT THE FLOPPING SPURS (god, I hate Gino the batkiller) :)

Can we just put it to rest?

UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES SHOULD WE EVER TRADE FOR ELTON BRAND.

There. I said it.

(unless it's for Robin Lopez straight up) ;)

The Suns wouldn't have picked Blair anyway. I guarantee you they would have nabbed Budinger, which would have been a steal as well.

I just realized after looking at the box score that the Spurs have only played 22 games compared to our 25. With both the Lakers and the spurs having such favorable schedules to start the season, it further proves my theory of preferential treatment for these two organizations.

Good game for the Suns. We got a real team effort with a JRich, LB & Lou all banged up. Officiating was typical for a Spurs game... don't call any fouls on Duncan and fall for a few Ginobili flops, but at least they didn't give SA a ton of fts either.

It was great to see Goran nailing 3s and being aggressive offensively & defensively. Hopefully he'll keep it up since Jrich's wrist is hurting & LB is out until Xmas. I do like our lineup with Grant & Dudley out there together though at the 2 & 3. Clark just seems to get lost a lot... I don't know if it's poor communication, trying to help too much or just struggling from not playing much.

Glad we won... now hopefully we can break the TNT curse on Thursday against Portland. Is it 16 straight losses on TNT?

Dragic is a new player this season. He's making Kerr look like the best GM in the league..

I still laugh to myself each time I remember people here calling Dragic the worst player in the NBA.

I'll be the first to admit that I was one of the people who said that quite often last season. In fact, I think I was the first to point it out. Now, in my defense, this was back in the time when Goran Dragic was actually the worst player in the league, so at the time I wasn't completely wrong. However, I absolutely did not see this kid's potential.

It's not even about the shooting percentage he posted tonight. It's just the command that he has and ability to handle the basketball in either an up-tempo and half court set. Last year, he showed a couple flickers of potential for one day developing into a player that could show some potential (not a misstatement), but it was all in the open court. Whenever the game slowed down, he would be forced by marginally bigger, more physical players to dribble the ball up the sideline and ultimately start the offense 35 feet away from the basket after eating away the first 10 seconds of the shot clock (and by "start the offense", I mean bobble the ball into the hands of grant hill or leandro barbosa in the hopes that they could scramble enough to turn a ruined possession into a lucky one). Unless Jerome James was on an active roster at the time, then I stand by that belief.

Hopefully, the fact that I stood by Kerr's performance as a GM. Consideringghe guy now looks like a top candidate for GM of the Year, and he picked Dragic. So in a way, I wasn't completely wrong.

Jrich for Brand
;)

IMO, I think Brand could fit into the Suns' style of play. With The SF and SG grabbing heaps of rebounds this season, Brand could start at the 3 and do that job. hell, he could even take the pressure off Frye to rebound and let him camp on the perimeter and Brand play like a 4.

Ill only do that tarde if we get Willie Green as part of the deal. :D

But, if it aint broke, dont fix it.

I saw Ginobli going off on some team a couple nights before we played the Spurs. I really thought the Suns were going down in this one! That's why I am lucky I didn't vBookie bet in this game! :)

lol. Best GM in the league? Because of the Dragic pick? lmao.

I love what he has been doing this year, but best GM in the league is laughable. It's not like this 2nd rounder is LeBron James now or anything like that.

The best GM in the league would probably have had to only had to give up 'future considerations' to move up 3 spots in the draft in the 2nd round.
