I think it allows Flem to focus on what he’s good at now.
With less minutes? Bridges is obviously brought here to start and according to Gambo, possibly with a long term contract coming to make him the PF for a while.

Then no Allen and Oneale allows CG and Dunn more time as solidified role players.
Fleming, Peat and Bridges are 4’s. This deal is even worse if they intend to re-sign him.

If you’re willing to say I don’t care/I will just ignore that this guy beat women now that he’s on the Suns, that’s exactly what you’re doing.

It appears I obviously touched a nerve here. Maybe you should ask yourself why.

The beating of women, kids then a year later throwing balls from a pool table through the window of his victim’s car, violating his court order (again, this happened just three years ago) can’t be separated from who he is a player. And if you’re in support of the move, you’re in support of willfully bringing in someone with that character as well.

Period.
you haven't touched anything lol - i told you we're not doing this - you can keep talking tho makes no difference to me

Yeah, this is controversial on all kinds of levels. Bridges can play, but so much for the "high character" approach they were allegedly taking. And including the unprotected draft pick is more JJ era recklessness.

The only upside is moving on from Allen and O'Neale, both of which were close to being dead money/roster spots due to bad contracts and Allen's injury issues. I guess that's why they had to take on a character risk like Bridges. But no protection for that pick kind of demonstrates that they never seem to learn.

IMO, the Suns strategy is to swing for star potential players. We are seeing this in play.

They are not playing for the base hit. They are playing for the home run.

i had just read that Grayson and Royce would be in position to be used for a big move AFTER next season. Why now, and for that player?

if it were me, i'd have made a trade that enables Grayson to be a starter on the Suns. He does a little bit of everything. If he can stay healthy and starts for his new team, i believe we'll be very sorry.

Sure… you told me to **** because you were totally calm.

The fact that willfully bringing on a guy who viciously beat his wife, kids and violently broke restraining orders makes no difference to you or makes you in essence put your fingers in your ears and pretend that didn’t happen is a really sad statement.

What are you talking about? Bridges isn’t even close to swinging for a home run. He’s a double at best on the court and complete and utter strikeout off the court where he’s a complete piece of crap human being.

It's the draft picks that concern me the most. I guess the thought is to keep swinging for the stars and trade the players that don't work out.

Grayson Allen and Royce O'Neale were originally extended with the thought process behind it of being traded. Now, it's happened.

In what universe is a 28 year old 6’7 PF who averaged 17 and 6 while shooting 33% from 3 a star?

This team is continually swinging for long term mediocrity.

Ok we get your stance which is universal across this board although you may say otherwise.

But what else can we do but talk basketball.

It will go on as a business and entertainment.

What's interesting too, Miles Bridges and Koa Peat seem to be those bookend forwards the Suns seem to covet.

I thought you didn’t care.

I fake care because I can come out and say I hate this move? Dude. Get some perspective.

Except it’s not. Some here are saying “he’s paid his dues and if it’s good enough for the Suns it’s good enough for me”. Others have said “I don’t want to talk about it” which is just running away from the issue because… reasons.

But what else can we do but talk basketball.

We can talk about what the move says about our franchise and ownership. That’s part of the discussion.

The Suns are swinging for the home run whenever possible. It's becoming their MO.

Isabel hates to lose Miles is a 25 point player if he is not on the Hornets. Koa is going to practice against a star every practice. Goes for Flemming too. Shoot me for my morals, I don't hit women. I wanted the gambling QB to

Yeah but you’re judging BOP, seems a like a personal attack for him “not caring”

Okay. You’ve said this a couple times , but again, how is trading for an undersized, bad three point shooting 28 year old guy PF who averaged 17/6 last year is swinging for a home run?
