It would be hilarious and frustrating to get more for JB then we did for KM.
It is the way.
Don't worry its never happening.

A lot of these same people thought we would get picks for Dhop, and K1.

No one is trading for a backup QB who went 1-11 the season before that is almost 40.

Monti being unable to unload DHop for anything should have been the third strike for him, honestly.

I would say, not that I agree with this sentiment, most of what the roster was last season didn't really play much together.

As disastrous as Gannon and Co were, you have to also consider that the Cardinals were literally the 2nd most injured team of this century. Pretty crazy that if you do the math, that's over 750 teams that were considering.

Throw in a Big John (Love), a possible big time playmaker on offense, and yes, the team could be better. My biggest doubt is the front seven because they are relying on some from a motley crew to step up and be better.
hmmmmmmm....l

and the simple undeniable fact that the team,..especially the defense...seriously under performed last season.

I pointed it out in the game thread iirc..somewhere around week 3 or 4... but the team was just "off"... the psychology, the chemistry, the "aire' around the team..it was obvious something wasnt right very early on last season.
fixing that alone should make a noticeable difference.
maybe...I know its hard to quantify...but maybe we inadvertently benefit from addition by subtraction this season.

nah...tampering with Gannon should have been strike three if we are being honest.

1. He took an interview with the cardinals.
2. He accepted the job with the Cardinals.
3. He contacted a potential coaching hire illegally.

How many glaring examples of bad decision making do we need to see??
When someone goes out of their way to show you who they are...you should listen to them.

According to Todd McShay, the 2027 quarterback class is talent rich and deep. The problem is that unless a kid's going to be top ten pick they're going back to school for the money.

The Cardinals need to thank Brissett for his services and hand the ball to Carson Beck. If Beck shines then the Cardinals have their young quarterback, if he doesn't then they are positioned in the draft to get one of the highly touted prospects.

At this point, I'd rather (if he doesn't get a deal done with Tampa) go hard after Baker Mayfield next year. Or even push to trade for him at the deadline if the Bucs are out of contention by then.

Todd McShay is a dunce.

Also, every QB draft class looks good and deep in the summer. Most of these guys will fail to progress as expected and a few will leap to the top from nowhere.
