Sure… you told me to **** because you were totally calm.

The fact that willfully bringing on a guy who viciously beat his wife, kids and violently broke restraining orders makes no difference to you or makes you in essence put your fingers in your ears and pretend that didn’t happen is a really sad statement.
Cmon dude, drop it. You made your point. Being angry at the team is justified. No need to keep pushing this with BOP. Each of us makes our own decisions.

I think they see Fleming and peat as swing forwards. Realistically all three of them can likely evolve into interchangeable combo forwards. Mind you, I said “can” not “will.”

And yeah, I hate having this guy on the team . . . for now. All I know about him is the bad he’s done. Reform is a real thing. If he’s reformed himself - legitimately (and there’s no way we’ll ever know that) - I hope he can lead a nice life again. The life of a multimillionaire athlete just because he’s he’s big and athletic? Eh, we reward the wrong things in this country.
If that’s their plan they need to trade Brooks asap.

Boy, that group sure looks like it will bring out the best in Booker, not. This team is going to be unwatchable.
More athleticism than we’ve had in awhile, but I just don’t get how it works together or how it’s advantageous in today’s nba.

It’s just a team full of hero-ballers who don’t shoot the three. I don’t get it at all.

Okay. You’ve said this a couple times , but again, how is trading for an undersized, bad three point shooting 28 year old guy PF who averaged 17/6 last year is swinging for a home run?

The Suns put themselves in a position where they have to take risks. That's where they are.

However, trading their 2033 first round pick should have been out of bounds.

Whenever the Suns make a trade, especially ones that involve first round picks, they should make a concerted effort to get second round picks in return.

They should always have draft picks available of some sort.

i no longer have an opinion on whether or not we'll get more wins than last year - plus we're looking for a new pg?

i'm stuck on stupid - i think at some point i guaranteed mark williams wouldn't be here - pretty i said we might trade grayson or oneale but definitely not both - i just unloaded a whole clip on literally (lol) running it back this year

just along for the ride at this point - i'm not the alanis morissette that's singing - i'm one of the one's in the back seat jamming out to life's twist and turns

i just heard someone say that, "by every metric the Hornets were better with Bridges off the floor than on it."

also, i'm not familiar with Bridges, but some of his life decisions indicate he's not very bright. So how does this trade make us better? on the court, and in the fans eyes?

Yeah I don’t think that’s a problem because I think peat will take at least a year to marinade. Maybe two.

The only thing they can’t do is extend Bridges. That would be a catastrophe.

Ideally they extend Brooks for 2 years and Fleming is the PF in year 3 after Bridges is gone. Koa is the swing forward in year 2.

This move would make more sense if it was about freeing up space next off season. If they plan to keep Miles around long term it actually seems like a worse trade to me. Though I suppose it does free up some extra trade assets with us being able to trade more picks now.

I don't have a big issue with the 33 pick everybody else has. We got back a 1st round pick in return. I have no reason to think 33 will be a lottery pick. Ishbia won't allow this team to be a lottery team.

This is an excellent point.

The Suns don't plan to be a lottery team so they probably look at the trade as only giving up one first round pick for Miles Bridges and unloading salaries for a position they view more important. More smaller moves likely coming.

They gave up the 2033 unprotected for a salary dump? Highly unlikely, even for this group of morons. They have to be planning to extend Bridges.
Getting Allen/Royce off the books for 2027 opens up room for a short term Brooks extension without going over the apron. If Bridges is a stopgap this is salvageable.

they said "the suns" have wanted miles bridges since last year - sure wish i knew who "the suns" is

and whoever "the suns" is (like we all don't know) must have ran it by jordan ott because let's keep it real - jordan ott loved grayson and oneale - they played like 25+ a game (when healthy) whether they started or not

that's 50+ minutes by my hippie math - and my hippie gut says miles and fleming are gonna get a lot of those minutes

which leads us to one simple question imo

grayson/oneale > miles/fleming
or
miles/fleming > grayson/oneale
??????????????????????????????

not just this year but also for the future - because word is "the suns" want to extend miles bridges

yes, a year or 2 ago the Suns were talking about the realization that they didn't want to be making 2's while other teams were making 3's

personally, i'm not into the 3 point focus, but it was, indeed, clutch 3's from Allen and Royce that was getting us over the humps early in last season, in combination with team offense and defense

and we learned that hero-ball was a failure in the Booker/Durant experiment, as was the Point Book experiment. Now we've taken a 3 point step back, probably a defensive step back, and i love Gillespi, but he's not a traditional point guard, and we've not addressed our size and position redundancy issues.
