SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO) — The SDSU men suffered a 80-67 loss to No. 2 St. Thomas in the quarterfinals of the Summit League Tournament. The loss marks the end of the season for SDSU. The Jacks finish 7-10 in conference play.

The first half saw the two teams shoot over 45% as the two went back and forth with St. Thomas leading 39-37 at halftime.

The pace favored the Tommies, and that showed true in the second half as St. Thomas began to pull away. Ben Oosterbaan scored eight straight points for the Tommies as they built a 14-point lead. SDSU got the game back to single digits, but it ultimately couldn’t overcome the second-half deficit.
