How much 2026 salary cap space do the Jacksonville Jaguars have devoted to the defensive tackle position?
For this season, the league-wide salary cap was set at $301.2 million, and the Jaguars have $40.772 million invested in the defensive tackle position, according to Over the Cap.
Compared to the rest of the NFL, this ranks 13th and accounts for 13.5% of the Jaguars' allotted salary cap space.
Editor's note: Arik Armtead is still listed as an edge rusher by OTC, so we added his cap hit for 2026 to the Jaguars' defensive tackle position to come up with the total above.
Arik Armstead and DaVon Hamilton account for a large portion of the salary cap space at this position. Armstead has a cap hit of $19.38 million, and Hamilton's is $12.448 million, which rank as the third and sixth largest cap hits on the team, respectively.
Among all defensive tackles league-wide, Armstead's cap hit ranks 11th, and Hamilton's ranks 26th.
Albert Regis and Ruke Orhohoro are both on rookie deals and have cap hits below $2 million.
Matt Dickerson's contract is a veteran minimum deal, with a cap hit of $1.225 million, while TJ Bollers, Keivie Rose, and Jalen Hunt are either first or second-year UDFAs.
