For the sixth consecutive season, the Alabama Crimson Tide are back dancing in the NCAA Tournament.

On Friday afternoon, the Crimson Tide will officially begin their run through March Madness with a first round game against the Hofstra Pride, a No. 4 vs. No. 13 seeded matchup in the Midwest Region. That game will be played from Benchmark International Arena in Tampa, Florida, and will begin at 3:15 p.m. ET on truTV.

The Crimson Tide are coming off a 23-9 overall (13-5 SEC) regular season, while Hofstra sits at 24-10 (12-6 CAA). Hofstra also won the CAA conference tournament, and will provide a first round test for Alabama.

Following is a look at who Roll Tide Wire predicts to win Friday afternoon's first round showdown between Alabama and Hofstra.

Matt Melton's prediction: Alabama Crimson Tide 87, Hofstra Pride 76

While the Pride are certainly a talented team that should not be taken lightly by any means, this is still a first round matchup that should see Alabama come away victorious. Expect the Pride to keep it fairly close with the Crimson Tide during the first half, but for Alabama to eventually pull away on the scoreboard in the final 20 minutes to move on to the second round Sunday.

Steve Holley's prediction: Alabama Crimson Tide 82, Hofstra Pride 76

Hofstra has held opponents to an average of 66 points per game this season. That may not mean much against a team of Alabama's caliber, the likes of which the Pride simply haven't faced this year. It could take some time to see how the Tide flows without Aden Holloway in the lineup. This is also an Alabama team that's played all of two games in the span of 12 days. You never know how rust could impact a team's start to a game. I like Alabama to win, but I expect Hofstra to keep things close.

Jake Boico's prediction: Alabama Crimson Tide 94, Hofstra Pride 73

Alabama will begin the contest shooting lights out from behind the three-point line. Hofstra has excellent size and talent, but the Pride will ultimately be no match for Alabama as the Tide will win by a final score of 94-73.
