I've never heard of scrapple so I looked it up. Wish I hadn't....but, I'm not exactly sure what's in a hot dog either so...the only things I can't eat are whole mushrooms and water chestnuts...the texture of both gag me for some reason
My dad used to work at a hot dog factory as a kid. Ooooph the stories. Still ate them though. Scrapple is 100% a polarizing taste. You're either gonna love it at first bite or gag. My wife can't stand it.

You MAKE scrapple??
Worked in a butcher shop for years back in my NYC days. Always had a plethora of pig heads about. Braised the cheeks, cure the jowls, but ofthen times would either debone the whole head and make a roulade, or slow cook the whole thing, pick the good bits and make scrapple. Not many bought it, cause....people. But man, it was delicious. Damn near broke my arm stirring that corn meal.

when in a small village in central america way back in the day I learned a truth that everyone should know.

If it tastes good...dont ask.

maybe its a philosophy...but its still a truth. Just eat it.

Went to Culinary Drop Out for the first time last night. Probably had the best curry of my life there! Went to the one downtown.

Talent there is top notch indie girls. Food is good for a high-end chain. Good concept well-executed even if the dining room (at least in DT Gilbert) is too loud.
