PEORIA, Ill. (WMBD/WYZZ) — Hannah Safranek had a big night and it helped U-High win a big girls track meet on Friday.
Safranek won the 100, the 100 hurdles, took second in the 200 and anchored the Pioneers’ winning 4×200 relay to lead U-High to the title at the 23-team Bloomington Lady Taider Track and Field Invitational. Dunlap finished second and Eureka third.
Baseball winners Friday included Normal Community, Normal West, and East Peoria. Washington edged Normal West in soccer, 1-0.
