I'm confused why you think that. Nash only did it to benefit the Suns (he hated the Lakers) and because it would work for his family. Amare didn't want to be traded but the Suns (Sarver) wouldn't pay him due to his knee issue (Sarver opted to pay Turkey glue (can't remember how to spell his name) and Warrick instead. And Barkley just had his feelings hurt that he was on the trading table:

Sarver didn't want to pay Amare because no one would insure his knees. That was a risky deal. I think the Suns should have done it given who they gambled on but we didn't know at the time that was the plan. So Amare wanted to stay but wouldn't concede in any way as far as guaranteed years or option years.

He won two MVPs and was voted into the Hall of Fame in his first year of eligibility, so I think it's a stretch to say that he's very much underrated.

this means that it's not book who sucks at 3s - but rather it's point-book who sucks at 3s

book can stand around and knock down open 3s with the best of them but that's seldom the case - book is usually dribbling downcourt and taking pop up 3s - while being defended - that's part of it

another part is book choosing to settle for 3s when the shot clock is winding down - also while being defended - drives me nuts - drives everyone nuts

the last second game winning 3s is what book is statistically good at - most chicken dinners in the league i believe (recent history) but bricking night in night out during the games is just no bueno

we're going to need 3s and kennard isn't playing 30 minutes a game - gillespie's 3 is sweet as hell but he's bench mob and gets picked on

book brooks and jalen green are gonna get the starts but if book is shooting 33% we're kinda screwed - especially on the nights that jalen's shot is off cuz when jalen's shot is off - omg

For Booker to go from a 33% three-point shooter last season to 37%, he would’ve needed to make just 15 more threes

That’s 45 points over an 82-game season

Sometimes the difference between a “down shooting year” & a “great shooting year” is smaller than you think

Right now, for me, Booker has had the greatest Suns career although Barkley and Nash each had better overall careers and even better seasons with Phoenix. If either had played all or even most of their careers in Phoenix, I'd go with one of them instead.
