Packers start off the season with a very light schedule.

Vikings (h) - w (1-0)
Lions (h) - w (2-0)
Cards (r) - w (3-0)
Bears (r) - w (4-0)
Seahawks (h) - w (5-0)
Chiefs (h) - w (6-0)
Rams (r) - l (6-1)
Bye week

I think up to the KC game they will be sitting at 5-0. While I think KC will be a tough game, I've got the give the win to the Packers just because they are at home - but it might be a very close game. I also see them losing at St. Louis. By that time I think Warner will have had enough games under his belt to be back in his zone - I think I'd rather play that game earlier in the season than when they are.

So I think 7 games into the season they Packers will be sitting around 6-1 or 5-2.

Vikings (r) - l (6-2)
Eagles (h) - w (7-2)
Bucs (r) - l (7-3)
49ers (h) - w (8-3)
Lions (r) - w (9-3)
Bears (h) - w (10-3)
Chargers (r) - w (11-3)
Raiders (r) - l (12-3)
Broncos (h) - w (13-3)

I think the Broncos, Eagles and Chargers games will all be close and could bounce either way. So if they end up losing those games that would put them at 10-6 which is good enough for another division title, but may not be good enough for a first round bye.

Packers are at home that game - that's all that matters.

Seriously though, Holmgren has lost his touch. I'm not sure what's going through his head any more but he's only a shadow of his former self. In that game - the student shall become the master.

Cheese is good for you - better than all that Cardinal Koolaid you guys have been drinking.
