He and Larry go onto the Leno show and this time they're introduced with the word "Champions".

NFC West champs. At least one win in the playoffs. (It's what I want, not what I necessarily expect.)

All that matters is the playoffs. A QB is the most important position so if we get to the Playoffs, Kolb will obviously be doing a decent enough job.

So in that respect, it doesn't matter what we give up for him, if he helps us go from 5-11 back to the playoffs, then most likely Kolb will have done his part.

Oh and I want 2 victories per year against the Niners too.

All the statistics above mean nothinig. His success will be measured by one thing:

Winning!

If we win and go to the playoffs, everyone will think he is a great QB and a big success and whatever deal we made will have been worth it.

If things don't improve from last year, the team and Whiz will still be idiots and we got suckered into that deal and Kolb will be relegated to Derek Anderson status.

It's all about the W.

Where is the ?

"This guy is walking into a buzz saw, there is NOTHING he can do to be concidered a success."

Kolb can be a 10 time pro bower, and still get slammed on this board each week.

Leading the Cardinals to the NFC Championship Game AND beating the Philadelphia Eagles to make the Super Bowl while giving the Eagles the last or next-to-last draft pick in the second round. :D

I don't know if you're being funny here or not, because your attitude has been so bad the last few months, but I don't think this is a deserved comment. When Kurt was flying high, everyone was all over him. When #7 became the starter, the board more or less rallied around him until the coaching staff launched their character assassination campaign. No one speaks badly about Larry Fitzgerald here.

The reason why there were so many negative comments on the board last year was because the team was terrible. Even the wins often felt like losses. Conversely, the outlook during the Mac years was so bleak that if we weren't blown out by 17 points it felt like a victory.

There's nothing wrong with this board that a three-game winning streak can't cure. Actually, my attitude about the team would be vastly improved with the cutting of Max Hall.
