The Diamondbacks and David Peralta are in agreement on a three-year, $22 million extension. He’ll earn $7M this year and $7.5M each of the next two years, according to a source. ⁦‪@BNightengale‬⁩ was first to report the news.

I hope he can stay healthy. He is a clutch hitter and, now along with MadBum, Ketel and,
to a lesser degree, Escobar, the face of the team.

Even though the D-backs tried to make Archie the face of the team, I feel that he'll
have to earn it with more than his beard.

Sorry, but if I had to guess, Beer might be an AL DH and is more likely to be a AAAA player. He really hasn't made any progress at all over the last few years.
