Kool Aid with a touch of vodka
My girl friend's brother inlaw is a Ranger with the 101st and him along with people like Pat and his brother are now in the Middle East. My prayers go out to these guys and I was wondering if there is anyway the Cardinals could show their support to a ex-Cardinal player who showed his loyalty when he turned down a high priced offer once from the Rams to remain with the Cardinals. Often teams reflect their support for players who have died as the Cardinals did with a black stripe on the sleeve when a Cardinal player once died of a heart attack. Why does death have to be the only time a team can show its support to a player? Tillman is not dead but his actions make me proud he was a Cardinal. A flag with number 40 on it on the sleeve to me would a be a proper gesture to Pat Tillman not only to say thank you to Pat for the blood and sweat effort he gave the Cards but more importantly the effort he is giving to his country at this time.
