Our biggest collective Kool-aid moment

There isn't a person on this board that hasn't talked up how solid our D has been this year, me included. I just sobered up from my Kool-aid binge to realize our D kind sucks. How do we continue to give up so many yards and so many points to 3rd string QBs and RBs? Sure we have a pass rush but we are supposed to. We just got so used to having no rush and no turn overs that we thought we had a good D. That run stopping DT is now an even higher priority on my board.

I hear you. Point is my typical optimistic idea that there are a few holes that can be filled in FA & the draft has just been burst. We are more that a few players away and one draft and one FA period will not fill the giant holes in our lineup.

Shorter Answer: They suck and we all got hopped up and expected too much from a rag-tag bunch of losers... Dansby, Dockett, Wilson and maybe Macklin I don't include you.

The run D is poor as Davis and Zellner seem to be wearing down quite a bit. We miss a ton of tackles at the LB position and if it weren't for A. Wilson the run D would be even worse.

Noticed today that Starks flat out can't cover at all. Have to believe he is recovered from his injuries as he is returning punts now and looks pretty good at it.

He isn't anywhere near a shutdown corner, I'd trade him to KC for Larry Johnson it might work their CB's are terrible.... awful.. putrid... they need him on that wall.
