Color New York Giants as optimistic. Well, at least reasonably optimistic.
In our post-schedule release poll asking how many games fans expected the team to win during the 2026-27 season, 63% of our voters said the Giants will win between seven and nine games.
The Giants, of course, went a combined 7-27 over the past two seasons. That is largely what led to the firing of Brian Daboll and the eventual hiring of John Harbaugh as head coach.

The hype train is in full effect here.
I see 6 wins. I desperately hope I have severely underestimated them.

Well I’m in to the Kool aid here’s to 11-6
Losses Rams Eagles 1x Cowboys 1x Houston
Detroit Seattle
I think the Gmen are significantly better than Washington better than the Boys and closed the gap significantly on Philly
I think Detroit Rams and Seattle will be the measuring stick for NFC Not sure NYG Will get past any of them in playoffs???? Playoffs!?!?
More kool aid please!!!

I never liked estimating the number of wins by picking winners each week because is it really about win probabilities, knowing that the underdog wins 25% of the time, and home field advantage is real. So I think about this in clusters.
- Division games: 3-3
- Home against good teams or away against an average team (Jax, SF, Ind): 1-2
- Away against good teams (LA, Hou, Sea, Det): 1-3
- Home against poor teams (Ten, AZ, NO, Cle): 3-1
- Away against poor teams: 0-0
Big Blue Papio
Just drank five pitchers of big blue koolaid this morning . Fellas, the so called “ experts” know jack. We are in the midst of a BIG BLUE RENAISSANCE. Harbaugh is going to pump this team up to win all 17 games. NYG fans, front office, writers(including Ed) will humbly bow down to pay homage to the Big Blue Architect and all teams will whisper “NYG” among themselves in awe and they will finally know that we have arrived! On Sept 13th, dammit, Harbaugh: RELEASE THE KRAKEN! Let’s go Big Blue!

If they can win 8-9 games and battle for the playoffs I’d be happy. Anything more is gravy considering how bad the team has been
Would you be satisfied with a season that falls in the 7-9 win range, Giants fans?
