His name has Manning in it though.

Even if he drops he ain’t coming here.

He just threw a ball to the knees of his wide open receiver near the goal

He will feast on terrible teams which are plenty in the SEC.

Question is will he come out even after looking mid.

Finally, a decent touchdown pass with three minutes left in the game

Said it before he has a weird throwing motion so his throws end up high. That 3rd and 5 crosser he threw it too hard and behind the guy it's like a 5 yard pass, if he puts it on the money it's a big gain the guy had room to run.

he's not awful but considering who his uncles are you'd expect his fundamentals to be better he just slings the ball

Yeah, he was over throwing receivers all day

I only saw the 4th quarter I didn't even realize the game was on. Then I discovered my digital antenna was damaged during our move and doesn't work at all now. So I wound up getting the 4th quarter on FOX streaming but the part I saw several bad throws.

I would add, I don't think the one TD they had should have counted anyways I think as the rules guy said it would be tough but they could have easily overturned that call. That was a good throw though not his fault

It’s the Mahomes/Curry problem. Young athletes want to emulate the unicorns of their sports and it messes with their fundamentals.

he does have a bit of a Mahomes style throw yes.

Curry takes "bad" shots but honestly his mechanics are impeccable.

I know it’s just one game and I know they’re playing Ohio State but I’m really not that impressed so far….
I think most of it was opponent but I could understand Texas fans feeling uneasy. Long season and I suspect he will be fine

damn - ive seen a pair of vans with more arch support than that - i bet mcdonald's wants him to change his name

Arch Manning was the belle of the ball heading into the 2025 college football season as the preseason Heisman Trophy favorite. That is not the case as of Saturday afternoon.

There’s now a two-way race at the top of the leaderboard between two returning QBs — LSU's Garrett Nussmeier and Clemson's Cade Klubnik now lead the way, both tied at +750 to win college football’s highest honor, according to FanDuel Sportsbook

I for one will hold judgement however he didn't look good today and I watched the second half. I was surprised at his throwing motion. I would have thought his father and uncle would have taught him a better throwing motion than what I saw today.

I told people last year that he was worse than Ewers

I was very impressed with his pocket presence. Amazing understanding of where the rush was coming from and how to move just a couple steps to avoid it. Now this game that didn't really matter because his accuracy was Anthony Richardson levels of bad.

I'm cautiously optimistic about him. I really doubt he'll be good enough to go at the top of this year's draft.

His grandfather & 2 uncles--his Dad was a WR probably sucked at throwing which is why he strayed away from the family position haha.
