So who else called in sick this morning in order to make it to the game this afternoon? Funny, when I called in to the HR lady at my office and said I wasn't feeling well, she replied, "That's really strange. A number of people have called in sick today. There must be something going around."

Anyway, I'm glad spring training is finally over and on to games that count. Play ball!!

A good day at the ball park.
There were nasty winds swirling around on the field.
If the roof had been closed there would have been at least two more HR's.
CY would have had one of them.

That porch will always have a few victims a year. Instinctively you're watching the ball, calculating the angle and running to the spot where it will come down. Nobody remembers the overhang.

I took a half day at work and made it down to the ballpark. I thought it might be somewhat miserable in my seat because it was in the sun the entire game. But there was a nice breeze going the whole time and it was actually pretty nice out.
