The issue with McCarthy is that he clearly has a ceiling. We saw it with Dallas.

Plus thing that really rubbed me the wrong way was when he blatantly lied in interviews about taking the year off to watch every NFL game. He openly admitted this in a press conference.
Illl take a 12 win ceiling any day

If you want some perspective on the differences between Baltimore (the haves) and the Cardinals (the have nots).

Baltimore fired HArbaugh after the Cardinals fired Gannon.

The Ravens have COMPLETED interviews with Vance Joseph, Klint Kubiak, Davis Webb, and Kevin Stefanski.

The Cardinals have not completed any interviews to date (at least reported).
Nah, I guess that is one of those "I just want to criticize Bidwill no matter the reality"-posts. They had several interviews scheduled for yesterday, and it would obviously have been reported if they had been cancelled. Probably the team just doesn't announce it when they have interviewed someone, just like the Titans, Giants, Raiders and Dolphins doesn't announce it either.

“Titans, Giants, Raiders, and Dolphins”…hmmm, something tells me that simply doing the opposite of what these “juggernauts” do would be a good start for us.

Maybe. And Browns does announce it, so maybe Cards should be more like them. The point is that it says nothing about the process if we know about it or not.

His ceiling is higher than we’ve ever seen or experienced.

His ceiling had a name and it's spelled Jerrah.

I'm still thinking it's going to be Matt Nagy or McCarthy. Certainly McCarthy would be better but I am expecting a bottom-ish (heavy on the ish) hire again.

If the Cardinals were to hire McCarthy I’m taking a long break from this team. Hopefully they don’t even consider him so it won’t be a problem.

Man there is more sentiment like this on the board than I've seen in forever...

"If the Cardinals do "x", I'm OUT".

2025 a really, really disappointing season. People are upset!

Clowns is being kind. MO looked 100% the part of a dead man walking. Does anyone still question all the court cases from previous employees regarding Bidwill??? Michael is far worse than a clown. Buffoon may be more applicable. Shame on the NFL for letting this travesty of an ownership continue for as long as it has.

Scathing!

I guess we've always known where you place the blame for the team's failures PA, but for someone who sticks up for the coaches and players pretty much more than anybody else on the board, the depth of your criticism for Michael Bidwill is a little surprising.

It seems you genuinely dislike the man.

Even if they hire Matt Nagy I will watch as I always do. I love the game even though my team is pretty much perennially inept. I don't get too excited or devastated by the outcomes, I just enjoy the game. But, I understand your position too.

McCarthy & Vance are just absolute jokes of hires.
Can you honestly tell me how you come to that conclusion cause I just don’t know McCarthy has a career 61% winning percentage and is a Super Bowl winner. His résumé is damn good. I’m not really sure what I’m missing, but I’m happy to be taught.
