If you want some perspective on the differences between Baltimore (the haves) and the Cardinals (the have nots).

Baltimore fired HArbaugh after the Cardinals fired Gannon.

The Ravens have COMPLETED interviews with Vance Joseph, Klint Kubiak, Davis Webb, and Kevin Stefanski.

The Cardinals have not completed any interviews to date (at least reported).

There is a much bigger list of course than just HC interviews!

According to this - they have three today. VJ, Matt Nagy, and Weaver.

Obviously Harbaugh is number 1, but I’m starting to like the idea of Saleh. He knows how to get wins with a team in the ER and that’s what this cursed team needs.

I don’t live in Arizona but I have been a true Cards fan since about 73. I should have left them when Coryell got fired. I was young enough that I could have latched onto another team and nobody would have noticed. Here is sit more than 50 years later expecting this year, this draft pick, this coach to be different.
This is my story as well.

Interesting. So Mike McDaniel's offense and Anthony Weaver's defense were no better than the Cards'. Oh they had a lousy QB situation? So did the Cardinals. Oh Tyreek was injured? They still had Waddle & Achane, while the Cards had no RBs and plenty of WR time missed to injuries also.

And look at Saleh's defense! Worse than the Cards'. He didn't have Warner or Bosa... but neither do the Cardinals. Hmm.

Edited to add: and Jeff Hafley's defense wasn't much better than the Cards' even having Micah Parsons for most of the season.

2024: 102.5 passer rating, 57.3 QBR
2025: 99.1 passer rating, 56.6 QB

I wouldn't say "much better" given that he had better weapons in MN. And if Kubiak is 95% as good as Kevin O'Connell, I'll take it!

TD to INT and number of yards tho

I may be in the minority but I sure don’t want Saleh, I always thought he was a blowhard in NY and he has double digit losses in each of his 3 full seasons as HC.

It's interesting to see the opinions on who shoud be the Cardinals next HC. I guess that's what makes it so hard! There is no clear candidate. Even if JH makes himself available to the Cardinals, there will be some on the board that say he wasn't good enough at Baltimore with an MVP QB. Or maybe McCarthy, he's not good enough with the team he had in Dallas and the only reason he has a SB wins is because of Rogers. Getting to the next level are HC failures or experienced Coordinators but even then, the fan board rips these guys too. Is there anyone that can come in here and win?

Other than Kubiak, who seems I like an experiment with big upside; experienced coaches only need to apply. If it's McCarthy, McDaniel, Tomlin, McDermott or other veteran HC, then fine. At least they could assemble a staff to condition this team, coach a real offensive line, and choose, develop a qb. The disturbing part, though, is MB is still paying 2 fired coaches. McCarthy, McDaniel have enough of a chip, itch to show everyone...so maybe they accept the challenge. Harbaugh wants stupid bs money and likely is waiting for Pittsburgh or Buffalo to lose, maybe he goes to Miami where he fits. He is very well connected in Miami.

I really don't think that John Harbaugh is gonna go to Pittsburgh given the Steelers/Ravens rivalry.
Buffalo would be switching from one coach who has underachieved in the playoffs with an mvp quarterback to another coach who has underachieved in the playoffs with an mvp quarterback. :p

This hurt to read.

Would be no point of watching this team if they hire Vance Joseph.
He would possibly be the coach that puts together the best coordinators though, sans Harbaugh. (Not saying that I want VJ though)

Does McCarthy have an interview scheduled?
Yeah interesting they have the same win percentage. He’s John Harbaugh lite, but much cheaper.

All those demands from Harbaugh seem a little much. Yes he had some success, but bro you got a ring bc Joe Flacco went into god mode for 4 games…But only 1 ring with a stacked roster for decades.

Don’t get me wrong, I like him, but he shouldn’t be paid more than Sean Payton…And getting full control…That’s ALOT of power. And yeah, Monti isn’t going to fire himself for the sake of the organization. Harbaugh is going to Miami.

Again, this kind of info is what makes Monti look like a joke and a complete moron.

Unless it’s out of his control, and those candidates are intentionally waiting to interview bc they want to explore other options first.

I’m thinking Monti wants a Coach that is currently in the playoffs.

Maybe hoping Tomlin gets fired if Pittsburgh loses in round 1 again.

The issue with McCarthy is that he clearly has a ceiling. We saw it with Dallas.

Plus thing that really rubbed me the wrong way was when he blatantly lied in interviews about taking the year off to watch every NFL game. He openly admitted this in a press conference.
