If Mike L wants to keep Rallis or replace him, who are we to tell him he can't. Hopefully he talks to guys like Budda and Josh Sweat to get their input. That is his Monday/Tuesday job-reaching out to the veteran players.

I have no idea why we are retaining him. Just feels like all the JG coaching tree. Lots of talk about how "smart" and "respected" they are with little in the way of execution.

Bc you don’t undermine a HC's authority. You hired your HC bc you trust him to lead the team and staff, so this should 100% be LeFleur’s decision.
I'm guessing Rallis is pretty highly regarded. There's probably a reason the Cards didn't fire him.

Give the new guy his choice. If it's Rallis or not so be it. Who out there, other than Schwartz, who's not coming here, can you clearly say is better?

I know this probably won't be a popular take, but I really like Rallis.

Also, on another note, it's getting to be weird that NFL head coaches are my age... and soon probably getting younger than me. It's hard enough dealing with guys I was college aged with (Calais, Rodgers, Stafford) on the cusp of retirement.
I like Rallis too. He’s a very intelligent kid, and we shouldn’t forget that the Eagles really, really wanted him to replace JG as their DC. I may hate the Eagles, but their FO is very good. I’m hearing rumors that Fangio may retire, so I’m sure the Eagles will go after Rallis if he’s available. Rallis was young, maybe too young, but wouldn’t be surprised at all if the Cardinals do their best to keep him.

I have ZERO idea what kind of a hire he is one way or the other. We will see what happens. I am not rushing out to buy tickets but I hope he does well.

Do you believe that we started giving up 40+ halfway through the season because Rallis is a bad defensive coordinator?

I believe we gave up multiple 4th quarter leads early then franchise worst ever point differential because Rallis freaking sucks

Good hire. Sadly, until we see some massive shift in the training staff and department, the coaching staff doesn’t matter. I’m not sure how so many are missing this.

We are the most injured franchise in all of sports.

Read that as many times as you need to.

A staff with Belicheck, Parcells, Reid, Harbaugh and Vrabel wasn’t getting this team to the playoffs in 2025 because talent was not our problem.

WTF is Bidwill doing to fix the biggest issue with his team? Until I hear of serious attention to this, nothing else matters.

Read this in the Next Head Coach sticky thread..forgot who said it but it's worth repeating. "Being Head Coach of the Arizona Cardinals is not for the faint of heart."

Here's hoping LaFleur has a spine of steel and a heart that refuses to wither. Especially during the inevitable rough sailing that surely awaits.

The defense was the first unit to completely pack it in. The lack of effort, the hero ball and/or business decisions, all started before we had a preseason game level out there. And our veterans were part of the problem. So, from my point of view, he was a big problem. The players quit on him.

Probably the one thing I will always remember from the season is the last two or three drives when we were on defense against the Titans and I was getting more and more pissed because we ran the same effing defense every play. Rush four, soft zone. The last drive I was screaming "BLITZ DAMMIT"! And we just never did
