They would be doing me a favor. I’ve always said that if they ever removed the Cardinal nickname, I would no longer be a fan. I only became a football Cardinal fan after being a hard core baseball Cardinal fan.
Same. I was also an Oilers until they became the Titans.

For the record: injuries and poor roster construction are ABSOLUTELY an excuse for/major contributor to poor offensive performance.

It’s not an excuse for the defense.
Agree here.

Although I still for the life of me can’t figure out how simply changing an offensive line coach could make a pretty good O-line two years running, no matter the injuries it suffered, into one of the most wretched units in the league overnight. That was kinda bananas.

But not as bananas as bringing the coach back who helped turned them into a catastrophe! Whooooohoooo!!!!

I liked the Oilers too, especially during their Bum Phillips years with RB Campbell!!
That's why I started rooting for them! My worst day as a fan was the Buffalo bills and oilers playoff game - January 3rd 1993 with the oilers up 35 to 3 in the third quarter and end up losing 41 to 38. Ugh. I don't know why I even watch football.

And then you became… a Cardinals fan?

Joel the first step towards getting help, is admitting you need it.

Lol. I became a Cardinals fan when they moved here in 1988. I was an Oilers fan since 1978 when they drafted Campbell.

When the Cards moved here I fell for them hard. They became my #1 team and the Oilers 1A. What that means is if they played each other I would root for the Cardinals.

Stupid Cardinals. Stupid Oilers.

dude.....

I grew up a Raiders fan.

AFC Team
NFC Team

I mean, at least I had the joy of watching the Marcus Allen years and a few super bowls back in the day...

But then, got to watch Al Davis sink into senility...and then leave the team to Little Baby Bowl Cut....now they are legit worse than the Cardinals...the only difference between Mark Davis and Mike Bidwill, is Davis throws his money away with gusto while Mike does so tentatively..... but if we matched them up head to head...Mike probably makes better football decisions.even with his hesitant use of team funds.

Wow, that reminds me of a guy I worked with that shouldn't have even still been employed said...You don't want to lead the pack because you'll be ambushed but you don't want to be last because you'll be eaten, just stay in the middle and you'll be fine. Unfortunately, welcome to art Bidwill, M. school of business.

And, yes, Even I see the irony of stating the cardinals are in the "middle" of the pack
Anybody that's going to basic training I tell them "be the gray man" - which is basically the same concept

Smart, in basic. My recruiter gave me similar advice, so I made it halfway through basic before a drill sergeant asked my name and asked if I was flying under the radar on purpose. Fun times! I never got in trouble, though, because I just did everything asked of me.

Born behind the piney woods curtain and raised a Houston Oiler.
Cards fan since they moved to Phoenix. Harvey, McDonald and Novachek and a few others spoke to our youth groups at various times.
As all of you know the Bidwills have made the organization hard to follow. I wish the NFL would force the welfare queen owners of the NFL to sell those organizations.

The #Cardinals are expected to retain Matt Feeney as a member of their defensive staff under new head coach Mike LaFleur, sources tell
@CBSSports
.

Was Arizona’s outside linebackers coach last season. Was previously with the Raiders and a college defensive coordinator at Akron.

The #AZCardinals are hiring former University of Texas defensive coordinator Pete Kwiatkowski as their new defensive line coach, source said. A decorated college coach heads to the NFL.

Of all the worst coaches he could have retained, he arguably kept the absolute worst from last year.

Our defense ranked 27th overall and we were 29th in scoring defense.

Of course we all know how much of a downgrade Frye was from Klayton Adams.

And I don't want to hear any of this "well maybe Rallis was forced to do things he didn't want to under JG". JG confirmed he NEVER overrides play calls his coaches make.

These decisions are beyond embarrassing. I thought for a minute maybe a new regime could lead us out of this mess, too bad the new regime ended up being the old regime. It looks like all we did was bring in a new OC and disguise him as the HC.

This is why we can't be a normal franchise and compete with our division. It's honestly a slap in the face to the fans. If you're not serious about winning just come out and say it.
Agree about Rallis staying is a joke. But to keep crying about cheap owners is also a joke nobody is going to “Come out and say they are not serious about winning”. You have to accept that when you became a Card fan.

the Titans leaked some of their new uniform concepts and they are going back to the oilers styling and color scheme. Looks great
