O-line ???? The only positive spin I can come up with is money. Bidwill saves money. Period.
This is the root of many of our problems

MB probably low balled all the other coaches and since he was still paying Rallis just kept him

If ML wants to lead the team, how can he not be able to make decisions?

Guys did you know neither Sean Murphy-Bunting nor Starling Thomas V played in those games? How can you expect us to compete without them?
this is what i find so comical. The previous year, we saw how bad SMB was and then in the 2025 off-season, the Kool-Aid Kids lauded Monti's incredible drafts and how Melton and Johnson were going to step up this year and be starters.

And then... that's exactly what happened, and then they decried injuries over the guys they EXPECTED to take a back-seat to Melton/Johnson.

And then Melton got benched at the end of the year because he is not very good.

This sounds like revisionist history…. He missed weeks 13-16 with a heel injury and then reaggravated in week 17 and was again inactive in week 18…. So was he benched or injury related?

"Melton was benched earlier in the season because of his play, and head coach Jonathan Gannon noted that he needed to see consistency from the second-year player when asked what he needed to do to get more snaps.

Defensive coordinator Nick Rallis also shared the same sentiments.

“Just continue to improve on his technique and consistency. It’s everybody – as a defense we need to improve on our consistency. But Max can go out there and play winning football, absolutely. It’s just a matter of doing it all the time,” Rallis said via Donnie Druin lf Sports Illustrated."

Max needs to show more maturity.

Open for interpretation if you are a poor interpreter.

Retaining Rallis is the biggest "we don't give a damn about winning" move of the offseason. He's never been good, and his defensive playcalling got WORSE as he got more experience. There is nothing to sell here, just more of the same crap.

You really need to watch your sources.

Melton suffered a Knee injury against the Panther in the first half which caused him to miss the rest of the game. It was not a benching.

Against the Texans he had a heel injury which caused him to miss most of the 4th quarter and overtime. The heel injury kept him out for the rest of the season. Again not a benching.

MORE LaFleur on Rallis:

“During the interview process, I expressed that he was someone I held in high regard and would be very interested in talking to about the position.”

LaFleur's statement on Hackett as OC:

"When you combine his experience with his high level of offensive production, it’s hard to think of anyone better suited for this position. I’ve never worked with him but know he’s definitely one of the top offensive minds in the league."
