I found this: Bill Bidwill Coaching Fellowship was established prior to the 2015 season and designed to increase diversity and create additional opportunities for coaching experience at the highest level.

Sounds like a great program established by the B family:

The Bill Bidwill Coaching Fellowship is a two-year Arizona Cardinals program established in 2015 to increase coaching diversity and provide experience for minority and female candidates at the highest level. Named after the late owner, it offers hands-on NFL coaching experience, with several participants advancing to full-time coaching roles.

Key Details and History
  • Purpose: To promote diversity and provide opportunities for minority and female coaches.
  • Structure: A two-year program focusing on hands-on training.
  • Background:Initiated by the Cardinals to continue the legacy of owner Bill Bidwill, who was recognized for fostering diversity in the NFL
    .
    • Participants:
      • DJ Gillins (2025): The 7th participant, with experience as a running backs coach at Stony Brook.
      • Blaine Gautier (2023): Former Baylor/LSU staffer.
      • Connor Senger (2022): Promoted to offensive quality control.
      • Jordan Hogan (2020-21):
      • Don Shumpert (2019): Former Giants/Bears/Chiefs assistant.
      • Terry Allen (2017-18): Former Pro Bowl running back.
      • Levon Kirkland (2015-16): First fellow, worked with outside linebackers.
The program is part of broader NFL efforts to increase diversity in leadership, similar to the Bill Walsh Diversity Coaching Fellowship.

I've come back two days in a row to find out the next DC. What's the hold up?
I am thinking the same. It seems to me that Pleasant is exactly what LaFleur is looking for in a DC (based on what LaFleur said at the press conference and reports about Pleasant), so it doesn’t make much sense to me. And I don’t buy any of that thinking that other teams have their choices first both, because the Cardinals certainly are an attractive place for a defensive coordinator. It has even been confirmed from several places that Bidwill offered Gus Bradley more money than Tennessee, so it seems that they are also willing to pay up (unless the Titans pay a very low coordinator-salary).

I don’t know. Maybe Schwartz is in fact still in play? I would just think that they could quickly close the deal with Pleasant if they want to.

I’m assuming that they have hired and are finalizing contracts for some of the coaches and will announce them all by Friday…….right?

What I fear the most is I’ll have to look up all of their names because the few names of coaches I know and the many names mentioned here won’t be part of this coaching staff
