#AZCardinals HC Mike LaFleur ahead of Monday's press conference:

- He will announce tomorrow who will play vs. Carolina

- On Trey Benson "just a little discomfort" in his knee when asked about the absence. Says team got "good news" on his injury. Says Benson is doing much better and the team will be cautious. Doesn't expect this to be a multi-week, wouldn't be surprised if he doesn't play on Thursday.

- On Chase Bisontis: He's seeing him get more and more comfortable. "He's gonna be a good player."

- What he looks for in preseason: Clean operation and making the right play at the right time. Carson Beck has done a great job with that operation. Thought he had a great practice yesterday.

- Loved what the defense did on two interceptions during yesterday's practice.

- On Josh Sweat: Expects him to on the field during Week 1

Per Mike LaFleur, #AZCardinals running back Trey Benson is feeling better today. He had a flare up in his left knee. “I wouldn’t say shocked if he goes in Canton (for the Hall of Fame Game), but I wouldn’t be surprised if he doesn’t go.”

Some RB needy team will probably give us a second round pick for Trey Benson

I remember Calvin pace said something similar to this and we lit him up for it .

Anyway, the koolaid is never sweeter than it is before the first preseason game.

I almost never watch the HOF game because it's never as good as a bad preseason game. But I do watch the cards because of fate........

Worked out well last year on the Thursday night game against the hags.

I was there for it after being in San Francisco the week before. What a couple of disasters those games were. Oh well had a nice week with @Cardsfanstl and the wife traveling down the coast.

Beck, bisontis and love I’ll keep an eye on even if love plays very few snaps. Watching the safety situation beyond budda as well, loved what I saw from Crawford in limited snaps last year. No clue what’s happening with corner beyond Johnson as the one, I do like Burke over melton though.

i like our defense in general - the schemes we ran last year were trash without a front four that could pull it off
