Am I crazy for thinking that MW is walking proof that it might be a tad early to write off MHJ?
Crazy? No anything can happen. But so far he just doesn’t look to have a dog in him when I watch him. He doesn't come back for the ball or fight for it imo like he should. Especially someone with his pedigree and hype and draft status. Every single less touted (still good) WR coming out of OU the last few years has easily outperformed him.

Define irony- Bunch of people acknowledging and appreciating a player they previously prematurely labeled negatively while also prematurely negatively labeling a younger teammate of his who had 400 more yards over his first two seasons as a bust.
not me... I repeatedly commented that I never understood how Wilson looked so promising with someone like Dobbs throwing him the ball and then could disappear like he wasn't even on the team with Kyler and believed that was more a function of Kyler's inability to see/throw the ball down field than it was a Wilson issue.

not crazy at all. But Harrison at times doesn't even look like he knows how to play the position (ie. jumping for balls he has no business jumping for and then dropping them). he's a mystery, wrapped in a riddle, within a conundrum.

yeah the book on Mike in college was he was great at getting the contested catches in the air, he just couldn't stay healthy.

The book on Marv was he was so polished, had great size and could really run. It turns out he's nowhere near as fast as we thought, which is why he didn't run pre draft. And he's just not competitive. Mike goes after it like Dennis Rodman, Marv is like Reggie Theus.

Possible, but there are tons of examples of guys putting up numbers on bad teams due to injury in limited settings.

I'm just saying that people expecting Wilson to suddenly become a legit #1 WR are setting themselves up for disappointment. He has no elite skills.

I saw some great route running during this run

with Trey McBride making what he makes and Wilson ( hopefully) getting a 80-100 million dollar contract that really singles out Marv.

Dare I say....trade his ass

Uh, celebrating what? 1000 yards at this point is not a big accomplishment - that's averaging less than 60 yards a game! It would have been way more odd if they actually did celebrate it mid game.
if you still can't acknowledge who wilson it's ok

I’ve always thought 1000 was weird even in 16 games since 63 yards a game is the bench mark. I’ve always thought the mark of greatness as a receiver and a running back should be 1200. But alas, the world we live in most everybody still seems to think 1000 is the mark.
