this is a really big deal.........
Patiently awaiting Brit's rebuttal... (he loves to tell HOFers they are wrong)
Did someone explain to him that Peyton Manning > Kyler Murray?
I don't, but I could be wrong. Several things go into creating separation. I don't think MHJ is a Randy Moss level athlete to create separation down the field but I believe there is a way to use him where he can create space. But you don’t think MHJ & his ability doesn’t have to do with any of that, though?
I see a guy like JSN gets open with ease regardless of who is covering him whether it’s press, off, or zone. I don’t see the same with Marv when it comes to going against press. CBs are all on his back while they’re 3 yards behind JSN’s.
He shouldn't have had to. But Kyler isn't that level of QB.Best comment in the article is that MHS said that Peyton just got him the ball and he didnt have to ask.
MHJ is usually blanketed, which is why his YAC is non existent. He's a possession receiver, so the QB has to be comfortable throwing in tight coverage. But you don’t think MHJ & his ability doesn’t have to do with any of that, though?

He can get YAC on crossing routes and has shown so, but there seems to be a reluctance to have him running across the middle on a regular basis. They are intent on making him a sideline deep threat, but he could really excell being moved around more, IMO.MHJ is usually blanketed, which is why his YAC is non existent. Route type and route predictability impact these things.MHJ is usually blanketed, which is why his YAC is non existent. He's a possession receiver, so the QB has to be comfortable throwing in tight coverage.

question is does mhj feel the same way?
cuz he's sweet as daisies singing kyler's praises in the locker room - brissett's too but let's not forget he hasn't had much time with brissett
maybe they feel how's the time to speak up with a qb in place that can get marv the ball during normal business hours - not after murray scrambles and it's another evening at the improv
marv sr wants his son to have what he had - the ball - something kyler can't do consistently
Only Cards fans would say such foolishness. If Jacoby has another good game I'll be hesitant to say the scheme sucks. Jacoby over the last two games wasn't just better than Kyler, it was up there with the best QBs in the league.
When a career backup does that, it usually means he's being carried by a really good scheme.
i dunno
Kyler didnt have any issue getting Hopkins the football from day 1.
Kyler has his issues, but the Harrison Sr comments sure suggest that the scheme is playing a big role
We'll see with a different QB. Kyler can't feed both because he is going to throw 15 checkdowns a game to the RBs regardless of the situation. It really eats into the volume available for everyone else. The inability to feed both McBride and MHJ is arguably my biggest issue with Petzing and his offense.
Jacoby's advanced stats in the past two games were outstanding. That is not debatable that is a fact. Either Jacoby is secretly good or Petzing's scheme was putting him in really favorable looks. There's absolutely no way Jacoby can keep this up regardless.Only Cards fans would say such foolishness.
This is what a sane person reads from an article with comments after 2 games with JB at QB… yet this gets changed into posting about KDS?!?! Kyler sucks we get it but that’s not what SR was saying here lol
I mean, that would be great if you caught the ball enough to give your quarterback confidence in you rather than dropping it all the time or running half ass routesBest comment in the article is that MHS said that Peyton just got him the ball and he didnt have to ask.

Subtle shade at Kyler
Senior's comments can be interpreted as either shade on Kyler or Petzing. He doesnt go into specifics about what makes the Cardinals offense hard to watch. He just says that he wouldn't produce in that situation.

Again - these quotes are post JB playing 2 games. Then it’s shade on him as well if you are interpreting it differently than the obvious and direct statements he’s saying about the scheme. Even JR is referencing the scheme directly (but is being a positive teammate about it )You must be registered for see images attach

This. Dude has a 60% catch ratio (50 targets / 24 catches), up slightly from 53% his rookie year.I mean, that would be great if you caught the ball enough to give your quarterback confidence in you rather than dropping it all the time or running half ass routes
