I think in the comics Madame Webb future is being binded to the "threads" that make up the multiverse and has a connection across the multiverse to those with "spider" powers. It is weird but it does align if Marvel is opening the threads of the multiverse.
This is Sony owned property that doesn’t really connect to anything in the Marvel universe but Spider-Man.

I'd give it a shot, but the use of webs (and the name implies much further use) was too realistic and ubiquitous for this arachnophobe.

Note: Anyone posting real spider pics as a joke gets an instant perma ignore.

So, you've never seen Arachnophobia, I take it?

Actually, back in school, yes I did. My father and I dared each other (he was the same way) to watch it. Five minutes in he said "get it the eff out of my VCR." I took it to my room like an idiot and stubbornly watched the whole thing...and ended up with my bed in the middle of the room, everything stripped off the bed, rocking back and forth in fear lol

This thing is getting absolutely wrecked by critics. It’s currently at 16%.

Maybe Sony should just leave this stuff to Marvel.

I was just about to post this. This movie is getting slaughtered by the critics.

Reading reviews when critics really get savage is a guilty pleasure of mine.

when your star starts sandbagging their own movie a month out, the writing's on the wall.

The problem is that the Animated Spiderverse movies are awesome. So they feel a bit emboldened now.

Spiderverse is on a whole different level for sure. I'm hoping the Sinister 6 holds up to the Spiderman movies.

Fox put out a few decent ones with Deadpool, the first Xmen and and the Wolverine origin story. Most of the Xmen, along with their Fantastic Four was trash.
