Considering both Daniel Jones & Aaron Rodgers been pedestrian since those injuries were announced & their teams have came back down to earth because of it, don’t think them playing through those type of injuries are ringing endorsements.
Why not them being at 60% is still better than what ever is backing them up. That dawg in them will not allow to just be on the sideline. Burrow could of shut it down said na I will be out there to compete with my teammates if Im able to do something.

Kyler was fun to watch for 2 seasons, Train wreck ever since.

We’re stuck w this coaching staff. MB ain’t paying another hire.

Pls don’t draft a QB…. trade back for 2 first rounders next year… but monti/gannon “never got their QB” so we’ll obv take a QB

3-6 wins for the next 50 years w a couple 9-11 win seasons mixed in. Chirp chirp

Says more about that QB room than anything.

If you’re injured, you’re more likely to be a liability than actually helping. That is selfish. Stop with this 1973 macho man logic.

Burrow is not injured anymore. What does he have to do with the injured Daniel Jones & Aaron Rodgers? Nothing.

And, for those who love stats, still a top 3 QB for the franchise.

Extremely low bar.

He has been here SEVEN years.

How many QBs have had seven years as a starter for this franchise? Zero since it moved to Arizona.

It blows my mind how many people I see online saying he needs a longer leash... he's had the longest leash fathomable, and outside of 8 weeks in his 3rd year, he's been somewhere between mediocre and bad.

Warner and Plummer are miles above him... hell, at least Plummer won a playoff game, even if he played like he was high half the time.

I think he gets traded to the steelers

I hope we can trade him.

But, for what?

That is a whole separate conversation.

His contract is ugly, the entire league knows we will cut him if we can't find a trade partner.

His 2027 money is not guaranteed... as long as he's cut before next season starts, obviously a team trading for him won't cut him, so they're taking on a big chunk of money for 2027 too.

Salary cap stuff is murky to me, but unless we eat a huge chunk of his contract, he isn't going to have any trade value. How much is a 2nd or 3rd round pick worth? Eating 20 million of Kyler's deal?

Yuck.

Ya that 2021 playoff appearance was #1 overall pick caliber. And his late season collapse every year. Bum.
Oh ya missing how many offensive starters on the line and Hopkins? Cool story bro.. love how rattled the KDS Crew gets. You little boys are funny

It'll be interesting to see if Murray is willing to accept a backup role om another team. Darnold, Jones, Mayfield, Jameis, Marriota, Zach Wilson, Trubisky, were all top 10 picks that became backups.
It doesn't seem like he has the temperament to be a backup.

Well, I think he's probably made enough money off of us (Cards, not me  ) to do what ever he wants to do, retire, be a backup, go play baseball, whatever. I do hope he gets picked up by another team, and, we can get something in return.

I can’t get this play out of my head! The fact that he hesitated before falling on the ball! This was also the last straw for me with Kyler. Obvious that he doesn’t have the instincts or toughness to win.

I loved it when we drafted him
Saw the promise and saw the possibilities.

Last three years...... I've been waiting for the next era to begin.

Don't let the door hit you on the way out bro. Your attitude and inner work ethic is not good enough. I just hope we can get some good draft equity as you leave.

Next to a kicker tearing his ACL on a FG celebration, or that OLB tearing his ACL on a sack celebration...... I can't think of a more embarrasing way to suffer a "season ending" injury than Kyler's "Face Fumble". At least the other two examples were in celebration of something good happening. This one is like the Mark Sanchez butt fumble but since we are the Cards..... the world doesn't care. They just expect it.

Bradford's "field fumble" will always be pretty cringe worthy but I think Kyler wins the title as the most embarrasing. And his promise makes this more deflating too.

Murray will be another in the long list of cardinals players who goes to another team and has a bit more success and leaves all of us Arizona fans to wonder what might have been.

I just don't think this is possible. He will always tantalize, but then fade midway through the season.

100%

I thought his contract was very palatable for the next team. Just not for us. Can't remember.

My hope is that he doesn't go to a smart team like the Steelers. We need a bidding war between the stupidest teams and owners in the league. Next to Bidwill they all look like a Rooney or Mara but there are some that are close. The Raiders, Jets, Cowboys, Browns and my personal dark horse, the Dolphins, all come to mind.

How are the Steelers a smart team?

I think a team that needs to win now like the steelers or Vikings would give up a 2nd at least for the only starting caliber qb on the market. The jets may also considering they have about 20 picks this season.

He's worth more than people are thinking. Especially since the revival of darnold and and Jones with the no clear top qbs in this draft.

1. Its not like viable backup qbs just grow on trees tho. Ones you would want to start more than a couple games
2. Macho? It's football nobody healthy at this time of the year its just now are you healthy enough to give your team something. If you literally cant move yea go sit down
3. Whose says Burrow not hurt they talked about he has to wear different padded cleats then takes them off every time his not on the field so his foot can breathe , Lamar you obviously see his not 100% but his still their best option his giving his team what he got. I bringing them up to show plenty QBS battling through things you just want to keep on Arod n Danny for some reason.
