This week, Chiefs Wire's Ed Easton Jr. spoke with Kansas City Chiefs Executive Vice President and Chief Media & Marketing Officer Lara Krug.
In her interview with Easton Jr., Krug discussed 'Merry Mischief,' an all-new holiday short set to premiere on Christmas Eve, and this year's 'Kingdom Christmas' events and experiences at Arrowhead Stadium, including Kingdom Kids Winter Wonderland.
"Our way of really interacting is to find more ways for the Chiefs brand to come to life. So whether that's 'Kingdom's Greetings', whether that is 'Kingdom Kids Winter Wonderland', whether that is 'Merry Mischief' as a content series, it's really always staying true to who we are, which is Chiefs, family, football and faith." said Krug "All those pieces come together, so if we can find ways to bring that to life in different activations, different campaigns, I think we've hopefully done our job really well."
The 'Merry Mischief' teaser is now live on the Chiefs' YouTube channel, with the full-length short being released at 8 a.m. CST on Wednesday, December 24th. Both the teaser and the full-length short will also be available on the club's social accounts.
The third-annual Kingdom Kids Winter Wonderland event, exclusively for members of Chiefs Kingdom Kids, presented by GEHA, returns to the home of the Chiefs on Sunday, December 28. The family-friendly festival gives families in the Chiefs Kingdom Kids network the opportunity to enjoy a memorable holiday outing at GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium
"Our Kingdom Kids Winter Wonderland is a youth focus event where, again, we're welcoming families who may not come to the game, who may not be able to go to one of the other experiences as a way to give a really kid focused, fun event right after the holidays," said Krug, "Further extending our point and our desire to be deeply ingrained during the holiday and Christmas season, when you think about the Chiefs."
Tickets are now on sale to Chiefs Kingdom Kids members. You can learn more about Chiefs Kingdom Kids presented by G.E.H.A and register your child at www.chiefs.com/kids/.
