This week, Chiefs Wire's Ed Easton Jr. spoke with Kansas City Chiefs Executive Vice President and Chief Media & Marketing Officer Lara Krug.
In her interview with Easton Jr., Krug discussed 'Merry Mischief,' an all-new holiday short set to premiere on Christmas Eve, and this year's 'Kingdom Christmas' events and experiences at Arrowhead Stadium, including Kingdom's Greetings Christmas pop-up bar.
"We want to be part of all the Christmas moments throughout the month for local Kansas Citians and Chiefs fans all around the country," said Krug, "So content on our social channels and these kinds of user-generated fan experiences are one way to reach a national audience and deliver fans a unique experience."
The 'Merry Mischief' teaser is now live on the Chiefs' YouTube channel, with the full-length short being released at 8 a.m. CST on Wednesday, December 24th. Both the teaser and the full-length short will also be available on the club's social accounts.
Chiefs Kingdom's favorite holiday pop-up bar experience, Kingdom's Greetings, returns for another year at GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium, turning the home of the Chiefs into a cozy winter wonderland with Santa-approved food and drinks in souvenir cups, festive photo opportunities, and scenic views.
"Kingdom's Greetings is a Christmas pop-up bar that happens at GEHA Field at Arrowhead, which people oftentimes get to come to the stadium on game day", said Krug, "but to get to go to the stadium on a Thursday night when a game is not being played, and to experience a fully immersive Christmas pop-up bar. It's a really unique experience, and I think we feel like it reaches an even wider audience than just a game."
Presented by Arrowhead Events, in partnership with Rafanelli Events, the event is currently sold out, but guests are encouraged to check www.gehafieldatarrowhead.com/kingdoms-greetings to see if reservations become available.
