We got our QBOF, but have a hot garbage backup and an always broken never-has-been starting. Bottom 10 QB room at best! IMO
Well, having a fullback has nothing to do with predictability but simple smash mouth football. You know it's coming and if you use the fullback, you surmise you have the physical advantage. Any 'trickery' or rather options would then be about your TEs employed in the formation or how adapt one's slot Wrs are... meaning we will have to see if the Cards have the horses once the actual games start
We shall see this season. I assume since we will have a bottom ten room we will also have a bottom ten record IYO? I would also speculate that we come in last in the west from your opinion.
I would wager that we not only have a winning record but we also make the playoffs.
Yep!I'd love to lose that bet, but I don't see it happening. Unless Rosen comes in and saves the day.
Yes, this is technically true. But teams with 2+ backs in the formation ran 63% of the time. DJ could also run a WR route from a jumbo package; neither are likely to happen with meaningful frequency.

This. A fullback can most certainly be in there for pass blocking just as much as for run blocking. Don't know why K9 would think a fb automatically would mean a run. Any coach worth his salt would know to use him in multiple scenarios as not to tell the other team they are going to run when they do.
I give the Cardinals a B.
I would have really liked to see a high end cornerback talent in the draft. If Christian Kirk is a non-factor, then I will be lamenting this team passed on Carlton Davis, who just from reading, sounds like he is going to be starting for the Bucs.
But it is what it is, Kirk may be that wide receiver we need and flourish, and Davis end being a bust, or visa versa. You never know.
In the end, I think the Cardinals did a pretty good job with all the change that happened. Would I be surprised if they absolutely suck......nope. But, I think that will not be the case.
For a fan, who is going to pay money for a product? I give the offseason a A+++.
I do not think I was ever more melancholy about the Cardinals than I was at the end of last season, and in NFL football in general.
But, I am quite interested in seeing not only Josh Rosen, but Bradford play, the switch to the 4-3 on defense, and the offensive scheme.
Bruce Arians' offense was very exciting, with a game winning, big play coming at any moment, at least that is, when they were a good team.
But, in the new age NFL, I think it was time for the Cardinals to join the league in the new aged offenses.
And like I say, we will see.
I can't see how anyone would only give us a C. We went from zero QB's to probably one of the top ten QB rooms in the NFL IMO.
Rosen has already beat Sam out.PP, Chandler Jone, Fitz, DJ - would start on any NFL team. Let that sink in - marinate for a moment - I have a lot of belief that Sam is a top 10 or better QB - will see if it turns to faith - chicken littles seem to think he is the only QB to have injuries in their career - Palmer had a couple and I think Sam slightly upgraded Palmer and has much left in the tank.AS Sam stays healthy - Rosen may not be or get good enough to take his job. This is a real possibility - and great for Cardinals - Really Sam is hard to beat out - I’ll support him totally until the sky really falls.
I’ll be shocked if we win more than 5 games this season. I won’t be mad, though. Got our franchise QB, & the closer to Ed Oliver, the better.
probably because no one but you believes the top ten QB thing.
Rosen has already beat Sam out.
articles were coming out last month quoting Sam about accepting a teaching role and helping Rosen to get ready to start.
if Sam starts the season it will only be to fine tune the offense before they put Rosen on the field.
